Secluded 'Lavinder Laurel Leaf Cottage' Near Creek

We returned to Rabun County for our anniversary and so our cancer-battling lab could enjoy a likely final vacation. Our time at the secluded but easily-accessible Lavinder Laurel Leaf Cottage was MORE than we could’ve hoped for! Our FAVORITE-EVER short-term rental - it was spacious; tastefully decorated; spotlessly clean; thoughtfully well-stocked throughout; with an oh-so-comfortable bed and the softest linens. We made all our meals in the huge, chef-quality kitchen - enjoying them on the back deck, surrounded by blooming rhododendrons! We lazed for hours on the creekside porch and our old-boy became a puppy again wading in the sweetly babbling water! We hiked Minnehaha and Angel Falls, and at Tallulah Gorge and Black Forest Mountain State Parks; and explored iconic Lakemont and nearby Clayton. We were SO sad to leave! Finally, we can’t thank enough, our wonderful-in-every-way host Jamie! We recommend this wonderful cottage without hesitation.

This cabin is nothing short of amazing. Very well cared for and definitely fully stocked. The front porch has comfortable seating where I spent every morning reading and listening to the creek that flows right by the cabin. The kids and dog loved splashing in the creek to cool off also. Would recommend this rental 100%!!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the cottage! It was well equipted, very clean, comfortable, and so cozy. We loved being able to cook and have a fire when we returned in the evening. The babbling stream steps away from the porch was a delight. It is easily accesible but tucked away in a very pretty setting. We inadvertently left some items and the managing company, Evolve, right away provided the owner's contact information who was so accommodating to help reached a solution for me to get my items back. I highly recommend a stay at this charming cottage! We look forward to returning! Oh, and it's pet friendly too!

10/10 would recommend! We recently stayed here for a wedding and it was the perfect secluded spot. You can hear the little creek running while sitting on the porch which is very relaxing. This place gives you a true log cabin feel. We will absolutely be staying here again.

We chose this cabin to escape fireworks in Atlanta. It is pet friendly and easy to access from the highway. There were plenty of dishes to cook and eat with. The rooms were super clean and owner's instructions very clear and easy to follow. Great place to hide away!

The stream running right beside the long front porch was very relaxing. This quiet 2BR in the woods is charming, comfortable and has every comfort. There is plenty to do nearby too. The owners are very attentive and easy to reach should you have any questions or issues.

We took our kids to summer camp near Taccoa GA for a week. We stayed at this cozy comfortable cabin that is 20 mins from the camp and we absolutely loved it! The place has everything we needed and it’s very clean. Communication with the host was amazing. She checked in with us a couple times during our stay just to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
