Secluded Getaway in Union Pier Michigan Harbor Country

The property was great. Looked exactly as pictured. Very clean.

I loved staying at the Kessler Cottage! The hosts were very accommodating, and the check-in process was very simple and clear. The house was absolutely beautiful and spacious enough for myself and my friends. I would happily stay here again!

This was a great place and so clean. We had everything we needed. The floor plan was perfect as we had a second living room and two bedrooms located on the opposite side of the master suite and living room. Great for a separate play area for the kids. Washer and dryer was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again.

Great communication and service. Lots of games and things to do in the house if you wanted. Close to things to do. Only negative was we couldn't watch what we wanted on TV because it was all streaming and we couldn't find regular TV. Would stay again.

The size of this house and two different sitting areas were a wonderful surprise.

The property was beautiful and just as described. Very clean and quiet. Beata the manager was very nice and accommodating even when i screwed up the tv and had to contact her. Would definitely stay again- went with my sister’s and will go back with my husband. Loved it!

Group of four women on a long weekend trip.We enjoyed our stay, the Kessler Cottage was very cozy. It had everything we needed, but we don’t need much. Good location, very quiet and private setting. The beds are firm. We come to this area twice a year, but like to stay in different places each time. We would definitely stay here again though, we just prefer variety

Our annual ladies getaway was wonderful at The Kessler Cottage. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was close to restaurants and beaches. We had deer roaming through the backyard. Our host was very timely regarding any questions. We would definitely return for another vacation.

The property was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the cozy areas for watching the game and long conversations, plus the private outdoor space where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening stargazing by the fire. The location was ideal—close to local shops and restaurants. Our host was communicative and welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and reconnected.

Nice place to stay, the beach umbrella and chairs were a life saver since we didn't bring any. Roomy for adults and kids. Nice fireplace outside for smores.

Very clean, beautiful, and quaint house. The only negative is getting in and out of the driveway/approach to garage itself.. but we managed. Would stay here again!

Water kettle leaks at the pour spout and your coffee maker does not work. Twin beds were very hard.

Exceeded our expectations! Our family of 6 (four kids 5 years old and under) could not have asked for better accommodations for our weekend getaway. Communication with the property manager Beata was great! (She even took it upon herself to message us one day to clarify how to use the thermostat since it was going to a cold evening). This house had everything we needed and then some (condiments in the fridge, detergent for the washing machine, shower products, etc.) We didn't utilize the games or the outdoor space, but it was nice to know it was an option. Kids were comfortable, adults were comfortable, and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay in Union Pier.

This cottage was a perfect place for our family of 5 adults in town for a wedding.

The cottage was very clean and well taken care of. It was nice to be able to walk to wineries and restaurants. The hosts were great at communicating with us. Checking in was easy and we were so grateful for information about the area. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This was the best stocked VRBO that I have rented. The host left us coffee, tea, spices, condiments, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, and many supplies. There were bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, games, and many nice touches.

We had a wonderful two night stay for a friend’s wedding. We liked that the house has two distinct living spaces, so my husband, son and I had our own space and my mom had her own space. Very clean and peaceful.

Stay was good, enjoyed the property and closeness to New Buffalo.

We had a great weekend in Union Pier for Memorial Day weekend! The house was perfect for 7 people and was in a great location. The bonfire pit was set up for us to use, there were extra beach towels for us, and beach chairs if we wanted to use them. The only thing I would point out is that the beds were a bit uncomfortable and there was hair in the shower that hadn’t been cleaned up. But overall, I would highly recommend staying here for a group getaway weekend!

Comfortable home in beautiful location with many fun towns closeby. And, of course, Lake Michigan is always beautiful.

Cool place that was perfect for my family’s stay. Lots of room. Close to attractions but tucked away for a nice, peaceful stay and some pretty nature. Some added attention to detail in cleaning and carpentry finishes would go a long way and take this from 3 to closer to 5 stars.

This place had ample room for 4 guests. Nice wooded location.

Very cozy, just what we needed

House is as advertised. Nice set up and layout. Down a little private drive. Very quiet, peaceful area. Quick drive to numerous beach accesses. We enjoyed our time here.

Centrally located to all things fun in the area. We bowled at Peats Cider Social, visited many restaurants and breweries in the area and actually had a fun visit to the beach just down the road. The host was gracious with our check in. Home was comfortable and private. Highly recommend! A

It was a perfect place for our low key/relaxing girls trip and birthday celebration.

We enjoyed the comfort of the property, the setting was beautiful too. The heat was complicated. One bedroom was sweltering and the room with the twin beds was freezing. . The master.b.r. was just fine. Although there were instructions in the laundry room, we couldn't get any heat at all in the twin bedded room.

Our stay was great

The house was lovely, had much space, and was super clean. We enjoyed long walks in town after a fresh snowfall, the bakery, and restaurants in town. We would definitely rent this home again!

Everything was pretty good overall. My only complaints would be that one of the kitchen chairs didn't have the seat attached and I nearly hurt myself, and the one ply toilet paper!!!!

This place was perfect for us. We spent 3 nights here and took in an ND game on Saturday. The reviews didn't disappoint as all 3 couples were very happy with the home. We played cards at night and hung out on the back deck and yard during the day. House was everything it was advertised to be.
