Secluded Fairytale Cottage surrounded by forest w/ hot tub and wifi

The cozy, secluded cabin was exactly as described. We had a great time taking in the sites of the surrounding area and coming back to the cabin for family games, movies and s’mores by the fire pit.

The place is as listed with the exception of the location being on a secluded piece of land on a gravel driveway that requires a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle to get up the hill. That information was not disclosed until the check in information was provided on our way to the property which was anxiety-producing. The property is very quaint and decorated with an esthetic that is well executed.

Stayed for 3 nights with family and had a great time. The property was as described in the listing and clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed. Super secluded and private with plenty of outdoor space for our group of 7 adults. Bonfire area and hot tub were nice at the end of a long day exploring Hocking Hills and the surrounding area. The town had a power outage the last night we were there. The host was very responsive and helped us problem solve so we were able to get back to enjoying our trip. Would recommend heeding the advice of the host on having an AWD or 4WD vehicle to get up the driveway. That incline was no joke! Two of our three vehicles made it up the drive without issue (Toyota Rav 4 and an AWD Ford Escape). Tried three times with the last one (2WD Ford Fusion) and then was able to reverse up the drive (do not recommend this solution for all sorts of reasons). So believe the host when they tell you it’s a steep drive.Thanks for a pleasant weekend away!

We had an amazing time staying in the fairytale cottage. The place itself was perfect for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. We loved exploring the land and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was perfect!!

You have a half mile drive up a secluded drive. The property is completely surrounded by the forest. If you are wanting to get away to your own little private sanctuary this is it. There are numerous swings on the property and other places to sit (along with the hot tub) where you can just look out and enjoy the pond and the forest. I don’t want to use the word skylight because I don’t think that is technically what it is but in the upstairs master bedroom there is a window that captures the sunrise from the bed. All in all it was the perfect place to stay to be away life’s stresses. If we ever make it back to the area again we would happily be interested in staying again.
