Scenic Cottage w/ Private Dock on Torch Lake

Great house, well maintained, comfy beds, great location. Easy access to the lake and the kayak and paddle board were a plus. Would stay here again!

We had an amazing time at the Windward Hideaway! Everything we needed was provided including Shampoo/ Conditioner/ body wash/ all cooking utensils. Very convenient, beautiful view, would highly recommend! We really enjoyed being right on the water!

We had such a good time at this home. We used it as home base to explore the areas nearby-Sleeping Bear, Traverse City and Mackinac Island to name a few. It was still a little early in the season to enjoy the lake, but it was beautiful to sit on the dock and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and sunsets. The home itself is exactly as pictured in the listing. Well equipped and the owners have thought of everything! The home was clean and in good repair. Would definitely stay here again! We were in the area for a wedding. This home was just perfect! The furnishings and decor are so beautiful. Our local host Tabitha was so accommodating! Her communication was excellent and service outstanding! We appreciated access to the home prior to the 4pm check-in time and being available for anything we needed.

This spot was perfect for our group getaway to Torch Lake! The property was recently updated, and the host has done an amazing job at keeping the home stocked with everything you may need (from spices to floaties!). We spent our time sunning on the dock and swimming in the clear waters. The welcome book on-site was also very informative and the host was readily available and communicative. Highly recommend if you are seeking a classic 'Up North' retreat with modern comforts.

Clean, nicely decorated and very conveniently located. The only thing missing was air conditioning. I would definitely stay here again!

Renovated, well appointed house in a beautiful location! The views are great and it was convenient to check out various areas of Northern Michigan. We stayed in late July and were very comfortable without AC. We had a great vacation and would rent the house again!!

The house was updated and stocked very well. Even little details were taken care of - like shampoo provided in the bathroom, and nice bedding. It’s in a great location, in a quiet area - close to boat launch and town. Could get to Sandbar end of the lake by boat in about 45 min. The only thing I suggest is possibly kayaks and bikes, and a bigger kitchen trash can! The garage could be a game room too if you wanted.

The house was great and easily accessible. Great views of the lake. The house was clean and had the amenities we needed for a great stay. Perfect size for our family.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful cottage. The beds were comfy and with the breeze coming off the lake, sitting on the porch was divine. Our only suggestion would be to add tie downs (cleats) on the dock to hook our boats to. It was difficult hooking them to the posts under the dock ! Otherwise 10/10 amazing experience !
