Salty Breeze Bungalow: located near beaches, downtown, coliseum, riverfront park

House was very clean, communication was clear and there are notes throughout the house to make anything confusing clear. Check out was single and didn’t require a lot of work which was nice!

The house was everything we needed for our week stay. It’s centrally located to a lot! We planned to explore all over the Charleston area- from Summerville to downtown and all the way down to folly and IOP and everything in between… so it was a great landing spot for us after a long day out and about. Cute, clean and comfy! Also pet friendly our pup enjoyed the little treats and toys that were set out for her! Our kids enjoyed the snacks set out for them, too! It was convenient to have a washer and dryer in the house as we stayed for a whole week. Check in and out process was easy. Communication was prompt and helpful from the host.

The place was super clean, easy to access and close to everywhere we needed to go. The neighborhood looks like it is being improved and not sure I would let my daughter go for a run, but always felt safe. The only improvement would be the couch, looked like from the pictures it had been replace and was not the most comfy for cuddling.

Host is outstanding, very responsive and helpful. Good location near downtown Charleston.

I greatly appreciated Jessica’s flexibility and consistent communication throughout my stay. The bungalow is a gem — very clean with thoughtful amenities for both guests and pets. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, and I greatly appreciated having access to kitchenware for a successful dinner date. The property is conveniently located near highways for Daniel Island and Charleston, with a nearby gas station for quick ice and essentials. Despite its proximity to the airport, it was impressively quiet: I didn’t hear a plane once. Overall, a comfortable, well-located place that was equally suited for working and relaxing.

This property was perfect for our needs. It was an easy drive to all the places we wanted to see, had the amenities we were looking for, and the dogs were very comfortable too! While we could nitpick that a tissue box would have been nice, it really would come down to that tiny level of detail to find anything lacking. Host checked in at appropriate intervals and forgave a broken glass. We'd certainly go back and recommend to friends headed to Charleston!

The location was perfect for us. The house had everything we needed and loved having two bedrooms with king beds. The host was readily available when we needed anything.

The bungalow was perfect for us - clean, organized and convenient location. We were there 2 weeks visitng our granddaughter and her husband having this space allowed me to cook special meals for them and spend special times together Jessica is one of the best hosts we have had - excellent and prompt communication and just a kind, caring soul. We will bbe back.

We stayed to attend The Riverfest music festival. It rained the entire time so we spent one day, hanging out, playing cribbage and watching movies. Very comfortable! Will visit again.

The house was great, very clean and we were provided with everything we needed. The host was very responsive to all questions and it was conveniently located to several attractions in tha Charleston area.

Excellent house! We enjoyed the king size beds which were super comfortable. Perfect location - it’s a close drive to anywhere you want to go in Charleston / Stadium / Folly - which is where we visited during our stay. Communication is top notch with Jessica. She’s fantastic to work with. Only complaint we had which is not a huge complaint was we wish the yard had been cut and there was a huge fire ant area near the back door / driveway area so we didn’t use the back door but wasn’t super worried. We will absolutely stay at this location again!

The house had everything we needed for our stay. The host was accessible and easy to work with. I usually take extra towels and wash cloths that is definitely not needed for this one. There were plenty. Very cute and comfortable house. Highly recommend!

Cute little house perfect for my children and I. Not the best location and there was still some food in the oven, when we went to cook. Other than that it was a nice stay.

This was a girls trip! It was my 29 year old daughter, 90 year old mother and myself. We all loved our stay here. If we go back to Charleston, we will definitely be staying here again! The hostess was very friendly and courteous! Thanks a bunch Jessica!

I was very happy with the stay. It was just as the pictures showed. I was also impressed by the little doggie treats and toys left for those who bring their fur babies. There were even games for families to play. I’ve never had that at any rental before. What a nice treat! Jessica was very responsive and very kind! Definitely recommend this place!

Stayed here with my wife, 2 year old daughter, and mother-in-law for a few days. It's a nice little place about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston. Took us about 35 minutes to drive to Folly Beach. Check in and out was very clear, and the host messaged us ahead of time to let us know we can reach out anytime with any concerns. The only downside was the neighborhood itself was kind of ghetto. But, you're on vacation and probably going to be out and about most the time anyway. We had no problems, in fact one morning I went for a 4 mile run around the area before going out and it was fine. Overall I'd stay again if I'm ever back in the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a deal not too far from things.Stayed here with my wife, 2 year old daughter, and mother-in-law for a few days. We came into town for a bachelorette trip and had the best time staying at this property. It had plenty of space for all of us and was in a great location off the highway for a quick drive to the beach or downtown. Would defiantly stay again!

This was a perfect little property for what we needed. We stayed here for a wedding and the host was very helpful to have things out that we needed for your one year old. Unfortunately we got charged an additional 50 after the fact with no explanation and I am no longer able to contact the host.

Well maintain home, with everything you need. Fenced in yard for Kids & Dogs. Easy access to downtown. Will stay here again when we come back to visit. We were here for a wedding and didn't have much time.

This home was clean and had most of the items we needed for a week long stay with a dog and toddler. Jessica was very responsive, and provided dog items and small treats for us as well. The fenced in yard was excellent for our dog to get some outside time. While the neighborhood isn’t the best, and I wouldn’t recommend walking around alone, it was relatively safe and the only noise issues were from the nearby airport. Our only main concern was the primary door’s lack of manual locking mechanism. The door locked automatically after 60 seconds, but there was no way to manually lock it. Also, the door automatically unlocked when turning the handle inside. If our toddler was any stronger, she would have been able to open the door on her own. This is definitely a major safety concern, but can easily be fixed by adding a deadbolt higher on the door. Like the title says, this was overall a good stay. If you are a couple/small group of young adults/have a small dog, this is a great option with access to the Charleston area. The current door situation, lack of curtains, and small size may not be the best fit for families with small children.

We had medical appointments in Charleston and needed a relatively close rental so we could have a kitchen. This rental was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. The home is small but that was expected and not a problem for the 2 of us. The neighborhood has several homes being renovated and some homes were in need of attention. The location was convenient for us. We will stay here again.

We booked Salty Breeze for a quick weekend ladies' getaway. We come up every year for Wine & Food. Initially, we weren't sure of the area as were unfamiliar with North Charleston. But It was so easy to get around with the proximity to major roads and highways. We alsofound the downtown area of N Charleston wonderful with it's fabulous local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The bungalow was perfect, our host thought of everything and had extra touches to make us feel welcome. It was impeccably clean and our beds and linens were very cozy. Communication with our host Jess was friendly and prompt. I've rated 4 for location just because we couldn't walk to local restaurants or to hiking trails. But, this is definitely an up and coming area and we enjoyed visiting a different side of the city.

This is a great house! It was very well appointed and the owner is very communicative. Every little detail was thought out. It felt like home. It is stocked with all the essentials such as laundry pods, clorox wipes, trash bags etc. It was very clean and perfect for our family. The owner even left us a puppy pack full of everything we needed for our dogs and some snacks and candy. She went above and beyond!

Property was just as listed. We had what we needed for our visit to Charleston for a birthday celebration.
