Salt Cellar Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage situated on the Church Farm development in Aldeburgh – one of the most picturesque seaside towns along the Suffolk coast. This recently transformed self-catering cottage offers great family accommodation for up to eight guests, so ideal for two families or group of friends. Inside the cottage is a brand new open plan kitchen and dining area which is ideal for families or friends to gather together at meal times in front of the cosy open fire. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with all necessary appliances for self-catering and the handy washing machine means beachwear can be laundered and re-used for your next fun day at the seaside. The spacious sitting room is perfect for evening relaxation in front of the television. Salt Cellar Cottage also benefits from an enclosed private garden and patio area perfect for some alfresco dining during the summer months. Although away from Aldeburgh's High Street you'll find all desired amenities are just a short walk away.

    The property is in a good location as a 8 min walk to the seafront. The good bits: Lovely cosy sitting room Good space - we were 7 people Nice beds Small plain garden but nice Lovely wooden flooring The not so good bits: Blocked non-working fireplace (no insurance) should be sorted for winter breaks! Small very scruffy out of date kitchen chipped cabinets - old pots and pans plates with scratches on them as old. Kettle on its last legs Carpets all need cleaning Kitchen suitable for two/three guests No mirrors in most of the rooms and bathrooms No hooks to hang anything in the actual house Very small TV - we were lucky as the management brought us a larger one from another property however in the winter months unsuitable Only one fridge freezer (for 8 guests) so if you’re self catering it’s not much cold space Should be another fridge in the boot room
