Salmon River Waterfront Cottage w/ available 1/2 price boat slip

Check in was easy, house was ready early, although we got there later than planned. There was a slight misunderstanding with the beach being across the river and needing a boat to get to, all concerns were addressed and handled in a professional and friendly way. Property isn't entirely private as the charter boats are right outside, but otherwise a pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salmon River Cottage. The place was great for 4 adults and a newborn. We especially liked being able to use the pavillion for a big family cookout. Christian was very responsive when we had any questions. WOuld stay here again.

Had a absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. Just me and my dog for a quick getaway. Cottage was clean , neat and well appointed. Very quiet and peaceful right on the water. Christian was very friendly, helpful and readily available for any concerns, which I had none. Can’t wait to come back!

Really clean property and a great location. Property manager was awesome. The only downfall was the front door. Needs a little love. It does not lock.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the property was. The cottage is on the Salmon River near Lake Ontario. Very quiet location yet close enough to all the amenities of town. The interior was beautifully decorated with a charming, rustic feel, yet had all the modern amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. We especially loved the comfortable living room, where we could relax, watch TV or read after a long day of fishing. The outdoor space was a real bonus for us. Private docks offered an opportunity to fish for king salmon right outside our door. The property is located within the Salmon River Lighthouse Marina which has a great covered pavilion where you can enjoy the view of the river, play cornhole, talk with other fishermen while preparing a meal on the outdoor gas grills. Communication with the property managers, Christian and Abby was seamless. They were responsive, provided us detailed check in instructions and gave us lots of information on fishing charter boat opportunities. We highly recommend this location and we can’t wait to return next year.

Just what we were looking for. Owners/Managers were friendly, courteous, accommodating, and attentive. Rented to watch the eclipse and it couldn't have worked out better. Got a great view of the eclipse (in spite of the clouds) and some spectacular sunsets as a bonus!

This was the perfect spot for a quiet get away with the family! Abe and Kathy are excellent hosts and were there to answer any questions we had. We will be back!

Great location and comfortable accommodations

The cottage was much bigger in person than we were expecting. Very clean and charming. Had everything we needed. Would recommend and stay here again. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Went fishing off the dock and caught some fish! Thank you to the owners for sharing the cabin, we loved staying here!
