Rural, Quiet and Private Casita with View Deck

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had…. Curt is a great host - communication is prompt, accurate and friendly. He lives in the house in front of the casita and said hello when we arrived for our four day stay. Offered a few tips on the area and then went about his way for the rest of our time. The casita is very nice - everything you’d want is there and is excellent quality (even water bottles and beer in the fridge). The pool is beautiful and there’s a roof-top patio where you can see a bit of N Scottsdale. Location is unique - close to everything, but feels like it’s in the country. Highly recommend.

Out of all the Places ive stayed, this one is truely a 5 star! Id give it 10 if it'd let me. Great job Kurt! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Scottsdale area! Cant wait to do it again next year!

We loved this place, better than the pictures! The house is gorgeous and well stocked and we loved the sunrise and sunset from the roof deck. It was pretty hot when we were there so we tried the pool instead of the hot tub and it was wonderful . The grounds and neighborhood are just beautiful and Cave Creek has tons of good restaurants and hiking and kayaking nearby. It is also close to Peoria and Slaon ballfields for spring training games. We would definitely stay here again. Curt was wonderful, with good communication and also very respectful of our privacy.

Curt, the host, was incredibly welcoming both by phone before we came and also in person. He is a kind and generous person. The Casita was lovely, comfortable, very quiet and removed from the hub bub you find at a resort or a hotel. It was near to many natural areas where we hiked and looked for birds. We would return.

Couldn't ask for a better host and great property! Very welcoming, clean, and quiet retreat. Everything you need inside and out and close to necessities. A wonderful place to stay if you want to be out of the busier areas of the Valley

Curt was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed. A very attentive host and not at all intrusive, just a nice feeling that you’re welcomed and cared for. The pool time was divine. There’s a nicely outfitted kitchen so I could make my healthy food, no takeout needed. I’ll definitely stay again!

From the minute you pull in the drive you know you just hit the jack pot. This is a perfect quite get away. Everything is immaculate. The host goes beyond being a host he makes sure that not only you are taken care of and even told me I was welcome to park my vehicle in the attached garage that he had cleaned out for it to stay there. The wild life is abundant from quail to rabbits and all kinds of birds. I will be coming back to this place I assure you.

Short stay to attend family function in Scottsdale. Curt was extremely helpful with everything from the booking process through guiding us into the property and giving us a thorough introduction to all of the features and amenities of the casita. The casita is well provisioned with just about anything you could ever need. Obviously, lots of thought has gone into the preparation of this property. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Great experience!

This place was very nice and the host was even nicer. The location is great. Cave Creek and Carefree are cute towns with many local artists and hiking trails. The nearby ATVing was amazing and right in the mountains. However, we thought the pool would be private. It's shared with the owner and not heated. Also, the hot tub has limited hours and can only be started through an app on the owner's phone. Overall, I would say it was a comfortable place and somewhere we could stay again, just not quite what we were expecting.

Curt's property is a true gem - the best maintained of any VRBO we have ever used, by far. We are regulars here. The last quarter mile in on a dirt road is a slight drawback for some, perhaps. The new bed was entirely too firm for us, however. Neither of us got a decent rest. Book here if extra firm is your bed preference.
