Stayed Dec 18, 2021My husband wanted Mountains, I wanted water- side. We got both with this Cottage! Such an amazing property. The views did not disappoint. Communication with Jeff was immediate and he answered all of our questions quickly. We will definitely be back!

Stayed May 11, 2026We really enjoyed our stay. We thought the ozarks were beautiful, the area was quiet. We ate one in Melbourne & one in Mountain View (at JoJos). The food at JoJos was delicious & abundant....if you go, go hungry! . I love Antiques & there are numerous places to shop in Mountain View. The fire pit at the cabin can really only be used at night, climbing up the hill in the dark isn't a good idea. Bring chairs if you want to do the fire pit or sit down closer to the river. The charcoal grill is not easy to use as the grate doesn't have a way to lift it up. My husband improvised and did grill steaks one night. I would recommend getting a larger TV. We like to watch a movie at night but didn't here because the tv's are so small. In my opinion , over the fireplace would work for a larger TV. The home is beautifully decorated, everything was clean and there are plenty of supplies in the home. Thank you for letting us stay. Mike & Sarah

Stayed Oct 20, 2025Perfect place on the White River! Easy, close access if you're into trout fishing, in fact, i put on waders and walked in without having to leave the property several times. Other close-by accesses, also. The host is great. Easy to reach if needed. Cottage was supplied with everything one could need. Great trip, great accommodations!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024We planned a last minute mini vacay with the kids and booked The Cottage! It suited us (husband and 3 teens) perfectly and we instantly felt at home. The house is well furnished with everything you might need while in a cottage/ cabin plus very well kept. There is PLENTY of roaming space outdoors and the cottage is situated perfectly on the white river where you can fish from the bank, enjoy smores at the bon fire area or cook a couple steaks on the grill all in a peaceful setting. The drive is a little curvy so be aware of that, but the views are unforgetable. Lastly, the hosts are amazing! Quick to respond to my questions, informative about the area, and they just made everything so easy.... from check-in to check-out. This property and the hosts are definitely 10/10 and I would love to come back to The Cottage again because of the great experience we have had.
