Rose Lake, Cottage with Pontoon, Coldwater, Michigan (aka Lake of the Woods)

Rose Lake Cottage is such a relaxing place. Fishing is great! This was our 3rd year staying here and love it! Grandsons caught over 50 fish! We will be back next summer for sure.Smith & Beck families from AZ & PA

This is a lovely location, excellent facility. The home was clean and welcoming as we arrived and we really enjoy every bit of our stay. This is our third year staying here. My husband enjoyed the fishing and even caught several! The setting is so beautiful and relaxing, we truly enjoy our time there.

We had a great stay on Rose Lake! The lake view when you walk in is stunning. The pontoon boat being included in the rental is really what made it special since it allowed us to explore, swim, and fish at any time all around the lake. There are a couple coves with fewer houses that are great swimming spots. Water temperature was perfect for us, and we lucked out with the weather. We found the lake to be a great size for us. It was quiet and peaceful during the week, with increased activity on the weekend, but never crowded. The cottage was modern, clean, and very comfortable for our group. We loved the views and being able to enjoy the porch. It provided a much needed relaxing vacation. It was also great having easy access to laundry. My only recommendations are to be sure you bring all toiletries (hand soap provided), laundry soap, and extra toilet paper and paper towels (starter pack provided), depending on your length of stay. We hope to be back!

Very accommodating for resting, fishing and booze cruising

Such a perfect home & location to relax on the lake. Our family really enjoyed fishing, bird watching, kayaking, paddle boat etc etc. Second year we stayed here. Love it! Smith family & Beck family

This is our second year staying at this lovely lake home. The setting is beautiful, the home is very comfortable and clean, we so appreciate this property. Well kept up and very nicely appointed. The lake is lovely, so great to have the pontoon boat included so my husband was able to fish. We hope that we will be able to return again next year! Peaceful setting to return to again and again!

I’m loathe to give this wonderful gem such a glowing and fabulous review as I’ll never be able to book it again! Quaint-the complete experience was flawless and the pictures can’t convey the clean and simple functionality and comfort of this little beach house. Be back soon to visit the grandchildren again.
