Beautiful, picturesque property. We loved our stay at Rose cottage, it was very quaint, and homely, the hot tub we absolutely loved however a few points which let the property down. No pillowcase protectors, these should be a standard, we realised when stripping the bedding before we left, otherwise we would not have used them. We moved the large sofa to get something we dropped, the underneath was full of residue and dust. It was not pleasant. The decorative candles, all had flat batteries and could not be used. Either remove or supply new batteries. The mirror on the gate post is worn and misty therefore made it difficult to see clearly. This should be replaced. Clear instructions are needed, on how the heating/hot water and Underfloor heating works. There were none. ButThere were many switches and control panels which we didn’t know what was what. There were no instructions, we had to call Charlie to help us out, as we did not have any hot water, We had wonderful weather and would have loved to sit outside, there were only two small metal chairs, no cushions, not comfortable at all. A couple of loungers would have been perfect.
