Romantic Waterfront Suite With Amazing Water Views, Hedgehog unit

This is our favorite VRBO and we return as often as we can. Clean, wonderful sunset views, right on the water. Basic kitchen allows us to eat several meals in and avoid the crowds. Love the hosts!

The place was pristine I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This place was great but highly recommend bringing a starlink of some sort. Or the property owner needs to get that tv hooked up directly to the ethernet. We only used the tv at night to kick back and watch something but could never get it to work due to connection issues. Lets just say I finally caught up on sleep this trip…. I guess it was a good thing lol great place

Amazing waterfront property. Pictured as listed. It is a second story unit so stair ability is needed. Host was on spot but not in your face. Kitchen was neat and clean and well appointed with items you would need to cook but if you plan to cook, bring everything including spices, condiments, and coffee as it is bare there.Overall a really nice stay. Only reason for a 4 instead of 5 star on cleanliness is that the carpeting looked like it co7ld have been clean. Maybe because it was end of season.

The host's were generous with assisting us with our needs. The room and facilities were in clean and in excellent condition.

What an awesome place, view, and incredible hosts. They pictures on listing don't do it justice. They have do a great job inside and out. We had to leave early because of little emergency. Our host came over to check on us as we were leaving and super nice. We will definitely be back. The place and views like I said before were awesome Highly Recommend

Incredible sunsets! We were really able to unplug from life and enjoy. We biked, hiked, kayaked and went to Washington island and a couple of state parks. Cannot beat this location! We don’t like the tourist trap vibe of fish creek. Sisters Bay was enough and close by. Feel so lucky to have found this place!

We enjoyed our stay in Gills Rock, as always! Communication with Dan and Gretel is easy and they are very responsive. The property is great for just the 2 of us, with a simple kitchen that makes having a few meals in convenient. Love the location right on the water, so it is easy to head out for a paddle in Hedgehog Harbor.

We absolutely loved it here. I made a mistake by not contacting them 24 hours in advance like it said in the check in direction. My bad. I called the number listed. They called me back right away, even though they were on vacation themselves. Great owners with quick response. We will definitely stay again anwouldrecommendtanyone

Stay was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Would suggest fixing shower, flickering light, timer on fireplace, and curtains on the bay side.

Are stay at this location was beautiful and relaxing. Being right on the lake, and having amazing view to seeing the stars at night was so breathtaking. The jetted tub in Vrbo was perfect to relax and warm up during such a cold time to stay.

We enjoyed our first winter stay here in our favorite VRBO. The fireplace is lovely to enjoy this time of year and we enjoyed a few meals in, using the kitchen. Many thanks to Gretel and Dan for having such a nice property!!

This is our second time staying here. Feels like a home away from home. Couldn’t be more happy with the location, privacy, and access to great amenities. Would highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay.

Clean, everything we needed. Perfect location. Close for a short little drive to see the beautiful countryside. Host went above and beyond for us, to get the Packer game on the TV.

Amazing water views & brilliant fall colors during our stay 10/17 - 10/20 . The house was very clean & comfortable & had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Great communication & ease of check in with hosts.

We have enjoyed staying at this property at least 2 times/year for several years. The location on the water is perfect and the sunsets are stunning. The small kitchen is wonderful for being able to have several means there, and the space works well for just my husband and me. Dan & Gretel are wonderful hosts! I enjoyed taking one of the new see-through paddle-boards out for a try!!

The most tranquil property ive ever been on

Location of the property was fantastic. We really appreciated being close to, but also being able to escape the busyness of other areas like Sister Bay. Loved listening to the waves and looking out over the water from the deck.
