Romantic Hideaway - Caribbean-styled cottage in lush tropical gardens

This cottage was amazing. I got everything I was looking for out of this trip. The lovely garden and pool were an added bonus. Sarah is wonderful and I’m so glad I stayed with her. The bed was great. Having a kitchen to make my own food was great. I feel like I’m part of a secret society that knows and have stayed here. I met some folks staying at a local chain all inclusive and they spent over 7k. They stayed one day longer than I stayed in Antigua. I didn’t pay anything close to that. I enjoyed everything about the cottage and will be back. Thank you to everyone that made my stay restful and rejuvenating. I arranged some tours through Expedia and did a google search for another excursion. I did not rent a car. I don’t trust myself driving on the opposite side of the road. I did not have any problems using a driver. Have a wonderful time. Book this place! You will not regret it. If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for- look no further!

We had the most fantastic stay at Driftwood Cottage. The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable, the set up with the pool and the veranda is superb and Sarah is a really wonderful welcoming host . It's a great location a 5/10 minute drive from the station and an easy distance from St John's and lots of nice nearby restaurants (but it was difficult to ever want to leave!)

Amazing little cottage and pool within a stunning Mature grounds of palms, trees, shrubs, beautiful flowers, and the wildlife with beautifully birds, lizards and tree frogs, just an amazing place to stay if you want peace and quiet and privacy. All in a lovely area of Antigua with everything close by. Sarah the owner is so nice and always there to give advice or help in any way. Total paradise. We will be back.

Peaceful getaway cottage with beautiful pool, in the perfect location. We were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Sarah was an amazing host and person who was conveniently in close proximity to assist with any questions or needs that we had. She was very respectful and we had wonderful conversations and really enjoyed her dog honey who plays hard to get. haha but really likes us and spent alot of time with us. All in all wonderful island the beaches are the best and people are very friendly. Thanks again Sarah wishing you the best love Mike and Jen

We had a good stay at the cottage but the best part was the host Sarah. She is a lovely woman with great tips on the island and just a pleasure to talk to.

Driftwood Cottage is a heavenly spot.Beautiful gardens, with a huge variety of plants ,surround Sarah’s inviting and relaxing open air cottage. Birds abound . Every detail has been attended to here. Art and pottery enhance the feeling . The pool is large and lovely. We enjoyed it immensely. A lifetime of TLC has been poured into Driftwood..No casinos or bars in the vicinity, but several lovely restaurants, and of course beaches and hiking all near by.If you enjoy beauty , peace, tranquility and charm then don’t hesitate. We hope to return soon.

Sarah was a wonderful host, attentive and friendly. Property was as advertised. A great location - close to a wonderful beach and some nice restaurants.

I cannot recommend Driftwood Cottage highly enough. We spent a glorious three days-after a busy week sailing around the island in a catamaran. Sarah is a great host: attentive but respectful of our privacy. The cottage is beautiful and the pool and gardens delightful. A great, quiet spot but literally 10 minutes from the airport! Would return in a heartbeat!

Sarah’s cottage was exactly as she described. The gardens and pool were beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed listening to the tree frogs at night and seeing all the lizards and beautiful birds. Sarah’s dog Honey was adorable, and Sarah provided us with great recommendations for beaches and restaurants. We rented a car, and the cottage was convenient to all beaches..and a nice, relaxing place to come back to after exploring the island.

Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. Sleeping under netting in the beautiful antique bed and listening to the birds and frogs gave us a true taste of island life. Sarah shared stories from her many years on Antigua and provided many recommendations for our stay. We loved setting out each day to explore the island then returning to our little piece of paradise at day's end. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return!

This is a lovely guest house and pool on Sarah's property. It is authentic Antigua charm with a basic but fulsome kitchen, inside/outside living, and sleeping in an antique bed with mosquito netting. The area is quiet and the nearby beach lovely.
