Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our travel SOP is to stay away from the resorts, rent a car, and explore an island from top to bottom. Seaview Antigua fit our needs perfectly. We stayed two weeks. It is 3 blocks from a supermarket and 5 blocks from both sit down dining and fast food. The closest beach is a little over a mile away. The apartment was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Everything worked including the AC. The only recommendation is to be sure to bring condiments. There was no salt, pepper, sugar, or sweetener. The Antigua weather in January was simply fantastic. The water was the same. The roads are definitely challenging to anyone unfamiliar with Caribbean. Signs are few and far between and it took a few days to get our bearings. To get there from the airport it is best to get to Newgate Street in St. Johns and then get onto Popshear Road. This turns into Anchorage Road, then fort Road and if you see the market you have gone 1 block too far. The turn is at the abandoned cars on the right at the bottom of the hill right after a street with a large green wall.
