We spent a weekend hiking in Shenandoah NP. This was a perfect location to access the park. The house was clean and comfortable with all amenities included. The hosts were very sweet to leave fresh chicken eggs on our arrival and were very helpful to assist in anything we needed. Would definitely stay again!
Very nice home and very clean! We enjoyed the fire pit and peaceful evenings on the deck! Would recommend this home!
Exactly what we expected (in the best way possible). Clean, cozy, great AC, reliable Wi-Fi, great location for hiking and convenient 1.5 bathrooms. We had a wonderful trip!
Loved the house and property. We were traveling with our dogs competing in NADD competition close by. Great quite property that was well equipped for our visit. Loved walking down to the river. We will be back. Host were great to deal with. TY
Main concerns for older visitors, the bathtub has no grab bars. My friend who is almost 80, fell while trying to get into the tub. She stepped in with one leg and she slipped, didn't have anything to grab onto and fell backwards out of the tub and hit the vanity. We went to the ER and thankfully nothing was broken but her back is very painful. This happened on our last full day there. The other recommendation is to put some plywood under the mattress on the bottom bunk bed for some support. We really did enjoy the area, so much beautiful nature.
We loved staying in this adorable cottage for a mini Shenandoah National Park vacation. The location was perfect as it was close to lots of great hiking. The cottage was a perfect place to relax after hiking all day and had everything we needed. We loved the back deck, the grill, and the fire pit. The Robinson River was close by and my husband and son enjoyed swimming in it. Thanks for a perfect trip!
We stayed here for a wedding that was happening about 10 minutes away. It was wonderful, clean, and well stocked with essentials. Loved seeing the history of it too! Host is wonderful and great with responses. Great stay! Thank you :)
We loved this quaint house. It was roomy and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was excellent! The town and surrounding areas were close and everyone was so friendly. This place is very close to hiking Old Rag and other smaller hikes. We loved it!
Great spacious and comfy location for local hikes. The winery and curious Possum stores were a plus.
Fun trip hiking white falls and enjoying Shenandoah
My wife and I had a great stay here with our dog. Stacy was super friend and the property was exactly as described. From where we stayed it was an easy trip wherever we wanted to go, whether that was just a quick trip into town or going out for the day
We go to graves mountain every year for the apple festival and when I originally booked the cottage I had no clue it was right down the road from graves! It was nice and quiet
This dainty and private stay was a wonderful way to enjoy our trip to the Shenandoah National Park. The house and location reminds of simpler times and allowed us to relax after long days of hiking and exploring nature!
The cottage was cute, clean and well appointed. It was close to Graves Mountain Lodge where the Bluegrass Festival, so very convenient.
