Stayed Aug 16, 2024This was a quick trip with family obligations but the time spent at the property was great! Very relaxing sitting near the river and hearing the sounds of nature. Would stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The rental cottage was terrific! The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Not only was it immaculately clean and fully stocked, but the view was spectacular! Sue and Matt were gracious hosts. They were extremely friendly and responded immediately to our questions. We enjoyed our stay immensely! We definitely intend to stay here again on our next trip.

Stayed Feb 9, 2024The Hosts, Matt & Sue, and of course Zoe, have thought of every possible need. I’ve stayed twice at the River Suite, and it’s always perfect. It is the cleanest, well stocked Vrbo, I’ve ever stayed in. The view is incredible. Looking forward to my next stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed here while visiting family to attend our niece's graduation & celebratory picnic afterwards. Unfortunately, this meant that we did not have time to just hang out & rest at the River Suite while there. The suite is clean & well supplied with the necessities. Be aware that the shower is very small & if you need a roomy shower this one will not suit your needs. Also, please note that the hosts do not want more than two people to stay here as they have concerns about strain on their septic system.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I chose this location to fly fish the Watauga and South Holston Rivers. The studio was located on a great stretch of the Watauga with excellent wade fishing in front of the property. It was also about 15 minutes from some good wading water on the South Holston. The tailwaters of both rivers were a short drive away. The studio was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Mike and Susan were great hosts and extremely helpful. I was at this location for a week and I would like to come back and stay longer.

Stayed Sep 15, 2022One of the best properties we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few. Very clean, spacious and they provide a lot of little extras you don’t normally see. Very personable but you have complete privacy. I would recommend 100%
