Remodeled 1930 Birch Bay Cottage Close to Beach

Lovely little remodeled cottage, close to the water, tucked into a small neighborhood at the center of Birch Bay. The neighborhood is quiet. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Owners were very quick to respond when I needed assistance with the microwave oven.

Very nice stay. Beautifully decorated and updated. Hostess is kind and quick to respond.

This VRBO is perfect!!! Spotless, beautifully decorated, a few steps to the beach, every amenity you could want( beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen !) and a super comfy bed with high quality sheets!!! Lovely little patio in quiet neighborhood.

This was our second stay—we like the cottage and its location so much last year that we came back this year. The cottage is small but mighty, with everything my husband and I needed for our four day stay. The location is great, very near the beach but off the main road, so it’s quiet. The cottage itself is extremely cute and comfortable, with a very good bathroom and shower and good kitchen. Beds are comfy, too. We really were able to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beach.

The cottage is wonderful! It has been beautifully renovated and well stocked with everything we needed. It is in a beautiful spot with a 2 minute walk to the beach.

The property is a short walk from birch bay where you can walk along the bay. It is close to the Canadian border. The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet for the many houses on that street. Kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. It is perfect for 2 people but there are also two bunk bed for kids. If I had to guess the area was a vacation spot back in the early days. The outdoor area is cozy with a fire place. I would stay here again.

This was a perfect little spot to stay close to the beach/bay! 100% recommend for a weekend getaway! Would book again in a heartbeat!

Jeanne is a great host of a perfect cottage. It is amazingly quiet, yet close to town. It is small, but not crowded, and has everything I needed. The host was communicative and kind. I can’t wait to come back!

Jeannie’s cabin is a stunning spot in the perfect location. Just a few steps from all that Birch Bay has to offer including coffee shops, restaurants and breweries. Communication with Jeannie was so easy, check in was a breeze and she was super gracious with our delayed check-out time. The bed was super comfortable and the place was so clean. Wish we were able to use the fire pit but we were in town for a wedding so didn’t have the time. Something to note if you’re visiting Birch Bay is that taxi services are extremely limited so be prepared to wait. Would happily stay at Jeannie’s again!!

Exceptionally quiet. Adorable and well appointed cottage. Great condition: amazing bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, outdoor patio/porch and great shower. Everything one could need for a very relaxing mini vacation. Will absolutely stay there again. The owner communicated with us quickly and effortlessly. We had everything we could’ve desired. I think this was our best vacation rental ever, in many ways. The cottage is lovely and located near the beach (a very short walk to the end of the street) and restaurants. The footprint is small but it lives large, with a regular bedroom and a bunk room. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom and the beds and furniture are super comfortable. It was easy to get in and the check-out process was simple. Best of all, the cottage is decorated with good taste and furnished with thoughtful attention to function and livability in mind. We loved it!

The cabin was perfect! Clean, comfy, and CUTE! My husband and I enjoyed our home away from home. Perfectly tucked away from the chaos of tourists and a quick walk to the dazzling beach. Loved everything about this stay. Walking distance from many food options and a state park. Just a short walk away from beautiful sunsets.

Booked this sweet cottage for my Parents to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. From the very first step of the booking process, the experience was seamless. The host was delightful to deal with, the cottage was absolutely perfect with attention to detail being absolutely above average. Location was wonderful - private, while steps from the beach and everything you want to see in Birch Bay. I would recommend this property to everyone and hope to return to enjoy it myself one day!

Love the quiet neighborhood, the homey feeling inside and out. We stayed a week - walked the beach, skipped stones, rode bikes, and mostly ate in with groceries we brought. We’d hoped to SUP, but weather was a bit chilly for that.
