Stayed May 17, 2024Above all else we loved the location and the abundance of wildlife. Cuckoos, nightingales, hoopoe, tree creeper, little owl and many more birds were calling to a backdrop of frogs and crickets. There was almost no human generated noise most of the time. The house was as shown in the photos, with lots of character furniture. Everything was clean, and the kitchen, though in keeping with the rest of the house (ie not modern), was clean and had all the utensils etc needed for cooking. Unlike most holiday homes, all the kitchen items (plates, cutlery, saucepans etc) were spotless. Tomas was an excellent host, easy to communicate with (by email, Vrbo app and phone), friendly, and spoke excellent English. He dealt with some minor issues extremely quickly.
