Rangeview Guest House

This is a small apartment off the hosts house. It is great for a couple. 1 bedroom, bath and small kitchen area/living space that provides all you need for a comfortable stay. It is not extravagant, it is cozy, well equipped and cutely decorated (must like moose ;). The view off the private porch is outstanding. The hosts kept in touch with us by text to see if we needed anything several times but still allowed us privacy. A parking spot was available. We were close to everything in town and a short distance from the Homer Spit where much of the activities and shopping are. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Rangeview B&D was the perfect spot to come back to after an exhausting day watching the bears at Katmai! And a specially made dessert waiting for us was the cherry on top! If we are fortunate enough to come back to Homer, we will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Rangeview Guesthouse in Homer! The property was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated with stunning views that truly captured the beauty of Alaska. Every detail was thoughtfully provided—from comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen to helpful local recommendations. It was the perfect home base to explore the area, and take in the peaceful surroundings. Kathy and Dennis were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The daily desserts were awesome! We left with full hearts and lasting memories—highly recommend!

Cozy. Was pretty snug with 2 kids on the pull out couch. Great location. Clean. The door to the bedroom sticks so its hard to go to the restroom without waking everyone up.

This was a wonderful place with a lovely view and convenient to everything we did in Homer. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is well stocked. The host is so kind and provided delicious desserts both nights. Highly recommend!

We found Rangeview to be a delightful VRBO. The hosts are excellent. We highly recommend this small, but cozy VRBO. The desserts are outstanding!!

Very nice B&D (Dessert). We stayed two nights and the owner delivered fresh baked desserts each day while we were out exploring Homer. The unit was very clean and the small kitchen had everything we needed. Sandhill cranes landing on the backyard was a daily event for us. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the hill but only a few minutes drive away from beaches and restaurants.

Perfect place to stay in Homer, cozy, great view, nicely private, lovely neighborhood, friendly accommodating hosts. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Kathy’s B n D (breakfast and dessert) and it was lovely. Nice view of the ocean from the hillside. Yummy ground coffee for the morning. Nice small fridge to store our food. Easy access to everything around Homer. Very clean and quiet place. Bonus: got a visit from some sandhill cranes our last morning. So special!

This one bedroom apartment has fantastic views of dramatic Kachemak Bay with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. A lovely getaway!

We enjoyed our time in Homer, which we love. The folks who own the B&D were nice and helpful. Kathy's desserts were a thoughtful and added treat. Would definitely recommend staying here.
