Stayed May 29, 2025It was a great stay and the owner was really polite. We had an ant problem, most likely because it rained, but they brought us some ant traps for us. Only thing that bothered me was there was a wasp nest in the front door when we arrived. The main Bathroom needs a little work but that didn't bother us to much. It's a great view and you can walk down the hill to the lake. The driveway down is very hidden and very tight. The owner did make us aware of that the day before our stay.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Nice long weekend near Wood Creek Lake. Need boat to fish here!! Cabin very nice and comfortable the only complaint is the beds. Not comfy at all. Owner was great.

Stayed Dec 31, 2022There was mouse poop in the silverware drawer and under the sink....sooo gross. The smoke alarm kept beeping throughout the night that the battery is low The lamp in the bedroom is broke and my nephew got zapped trying to turn it on There is water sitting in some of the pans in the cupboard...and they are black inside of them. The bed felt like it was going to break and it dips in the middle of it. There was a dirty cup in the sink and dishes in the dishwasher when we got there ( was not sure if they were clean or dirty)

Stayed Jul 15, 2022This cottage is absolutely adorable! We stayed here for a wedding in the area and even squeezed in some fishing. The place is very clean and has a nicely equipped kitchen. I only have 2 small suggestions. As we are big coffee drinkers, a larger coffee maker would have been nice. And the tv seemed very dated. Neither of these things would keep me from staying again though!
