Adults-Only Wilderness Retreat bordering the Daniel Boone National Forest!
Escape the chaos at our private 358 sq. ft. studio cabin nestled on 23 acres of pristine, rugged Kentucky forest. Perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking true peace and quiet—our property enforces a strict no-kids, no-pets policy to guarantee absolute serenity and uninterrupted wildlife viewing (we sometimes see deer, turkey, and local wildlife right from the porch).
Highlights:
• Direct Border Access to the wild & scenic Daniel Boone National Forest.
• $0 Cleaning Fee — The price you see is the price you pay.
• Fully equipped kitchen, private fire pit (free firewood included), hammock, and charcoal grill.
• Located just 10 miles off I-75 (Exit 41), making it the perfect basecamp for hikers exploring Sinking Creek or the Rockcastle River region.

Our property sits adjacent to the Thrash Rock a geological feature of historical interest. Local legend tells us this is where the ancient natives and local townsfolk threshed their grain. The area was settled early 19th century & locals say in late 19th century this area was a busy small village on the road to Sinking Creek and the Rockcastle River. Old home foundations dot the landscape. The cabin sits in the front of our 22 acres adjoining the Daniel Boone National Forest. Completed in 2016, Forest Cabin is now open for guests! Please consider a visit, you will experience nature at its finest!

Conveniently located 5 miles down White Oak Road in London, Kentucky. Exit 41, 80W. midway between Wood Creek Lake and Laurel River Lake. Maximum 2 guests, this cozy studio cabin is perfect place to escape from it all. Very little traffic noise & nice dark night sky, you won't see another house in your tiny cabin in the woods! We offer many amenities over the local hotel room. It's less expensive and better than the Hampton Inn, said a guest. This is a great place to get away from it all! At 358 sq. ft. this is tiny home living at its best. Relax on the porch rocking chairs, hammock for 1 or 2, grill & chill at the picnic table in the yard or roast marshmallows for S'mores at the firepit in the yard, an initial supply of firewood is provided. It's like camping with all your stuff!

We were so happy with this little cabin. It was in a nice setting and was exactly as described. We only need one bed, which was so firm and provided a good night's sleep, so the price was right and not having to pay for more than what we require was nice. If we needed anything that wasn't there all we had to do was ask.

Great cabin for two, clean, and our hosts were great. We used this as a “home base” for hiking in the area. It was pretty centrally located for hiking the Red River Gorge (Northeast) and Cumberland Falls (South) areas. Thank you for a great vacation!
