Quiet Plymouth Cottage on Great South Pond!

From the moment we pulled in, we knew we found the perfect place. Steps away from the water, we were pretty much on our own the entire 6 days, except for the red-bellied cooters, cormorants, and other wildlife. The lapping water on the shore made for great sleep. We met the owner on the first day, who shared information about the history and fauna, as well as providing instructions for kayak use.The house had everything we needed, an updated interior, and very clean. Plymouth waterfront is 15 mins away, a great small-town feel that didn't feel overwhelmed with people in high season since it's spread out and has so much to do. We will definitely be back.Pay close attention to owners' directions (not GPS) in getting there.

We really enjoyed our time at this cottage. It was very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the comfy loungers and our afternoon wine.It was the perfect location, close to the town of Plymouth with groceries, restaurants and shopping. We took advantage of the paddle board and paddled around the lake.My husband really enjoyed chatting with John, the owner. He was really nice, helpful and accommodating to our needs. This is a non-motorized lake so get ready to enjoy the peaceful kayaking and paddle boards.We would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again.Thank you, John!

Great property to relax and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Everything was great! The cottage was immaculate. The private beach...perfect! Beautiful view...very relaxing and peaceful. Minutes away from popular sites and restaurants.

Everything was great! Very relaxing, cottage right on the water, private beach! My only nit pick is the water pressure was low and the water temperature in the shower fluctuated from cool to hot to cool again . Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The perfect getaway spot! Tucked away on a pond hidden in the thick woods of Plymouth, this charming cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway! The pictures don't do their justice of how gorgeous this place is! The best is watching the sun set every evening during our stay! Gas, food, restaurants and stores are only a couple of minutes away. As well, Plymouth is only 15 minutes away! There is plenty to do in the area! But for a couples getaway, it was perfect for us to venture or stay in! Make sure you do have a good car because it is off the beaten path for sure!

This property is a hidden paradise. My wife and I chose this cottage to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. The view is amazing and the cottage is cozy and beautiful. Communication with Michelle and John was great and they have stocked the property with every household item you may need. Even though the property is hidden, you are only 5 minutes away from restaurants and shopping centers. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you

We loved the quiet private location that was still close to shopping, dining and site seeing. The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. We can't wait for a return visit.

I loved my stay and was glad it could be extended for a few extra days with Mother Nature. Even the weather cooperated. Even though the location-down a long sandy road and tucked into the piney woods seems remote, it's right by 'civilization'. The cabin was clean, comfy and had everything I needed including a puzzle to work on. The pond was crystal clear, enough so I watched large trout swimming by. My grandson swam and was visited by the geese which was very exciting for him. Would definitely recommend if you like nature up close and personal.....Diane F
