The view was priceless! All of the essentials are provided in the kitchen, including a lobster pot & skillet! This quaint & cozy cottage was exactly what we needed to get away from the rush of life. It is remote enough to avoid the touristy areas but has just enough restaurants in the area. Kayaking in the bay was divine! Communication was simple and check in was quick and informative! We hope to be back in the future!

The view, oh the view! Peaceful and beautiful, just what we were looking for! And Margaret, Rachel and Sabrina were very hospitable, eager to help. Unfortunately, the two basic requirements - bed and bath - were the weakest parts of the accommodations. The full-size bed is lumpy and hard, as are the two futons you could attempt to use instead. Both of us were sore the entire week due to the bedding. The photo of the cottage showed an overstuffed comfy sofa, but that had been replaced by a hard futon. And the bathroom - a sink, toilet, tub/shower so small I had to turn sideways to get in. I have walking disabilities and the whole property was scary to navigate due to up and downhill access with insufficient stairs and railings. And even though there is cable, no instructions to use it and nobody to help you figure it out when you ask. Also, there was a strong musty odor in the bedroom and all the closets and bureaus. We didn't take our clothes out of our suitcases so they wouldn't take on the smell. The cottage is a quaint-rustic-tiny house affair with what was once some amazing carpentry, perhaps done by a ship's carpenter. If you go with the idea that you're a step above camping, you'll be fine. If you're looking for a comfy bed and nice bath for long hot showers, keep looking. Rumor has it that the bathroom is on the priority list for modernizing. We suggest a better mattress and sofa, too. With those adjustments, we'd probably try it again.

Charming rental with a beautiful view of the water and gorgeous sunsets! The management was friendly and accommodating. “The cabin” was fully stocked with things you may need or may have forgotten. The water has a smell to it, so they provide a water jug dispenser to use for fresh water to drink. My cousin and I had a wonderful time!

We had a great time! The cottage is very cute and rustic with an amazing ocean view and deck. The cottage had lots of charm and was reminiscent of an old ship. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay in Harpswell! Very easy check in and the hosts were super sweet. The cottage had some great local recommendations and we loved watching the sunset from the back yard.

My friend and I stayed for four nights at this cottage by the sea. We found it to be larger than it appears in the photos with an extra room that the host willingly and quickly turned into a second bedroom. It was well appointed with all that we needed to cook most of our meals. The location at the provided local walking by the sea and short rides took us to many local preserves. I would highly recommend, the cabin, the location and the host who was very helpful and accommodating.

We booked the cottage for two nights and our only regret is not being able to stay longer. The listing and pictures don’t really do this place justice. It’s cozy and you can tell it’s been well loved and enjoyed for many years. The furnishings and layout make you feel like you are in a ship overlooking the open ocean. There was more square footage than we expected, if you have kids they could easily stay in the other room with what looked like a futon. The view is serene, and the accessibility to the Potts point preserve is incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling with our dog. There were several restaurants still open and they were delicious. We cannot wait to stay again.

My dog Pippa and I had a perfect 3-day escape in this cozy space. The view from daybreak to sunset is amazing! The location on the end of Pott’s Point is stunning. Very comfortable bed, lovely shower, great little kitchen area. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Absolutely will hope to stay again.

This was our second trip to Bayberry Lodge and we were again delighted with the location, the property, the caretakers and the community. This is a very comfortable accommodation with a spectacular view. My favorite part of our trip was spotting seals in Casco Bay from our window, hopping in my Kayak and giving chase, with the seals definitely playing hide and seek with me. We hope to return again soon!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in this sweet little place right on Potts Harbor. It was perfect for the two of us with just the right amount of charm and the most beautiful views. Morning coffee was a daily ritual on the deck watching the fishing boats coming and going. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating. We will go back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much.

We had a lovely time. Quiet, sea breezes, dolphins, lobster boats, beach walks and sunshine. What more could you ask for. Our hosts were really nice and friendly, but not at all intrusive.Certainly a place to come back to!
