Quaint Cottage On Christmas Tree Farm in SE coastal Rhode Island

Such a cozy retreat. All the amenities of home provided. Short distance to fun local holiday shops and only about 30ish minutes on to Newport

This was our second visit, and are coming back in the fall.

The location worked out great as a base to visit Newport area attractions. About a forty-five minute drive to get to the mansions and the heart of Newport though there are nature areas, wineries, food options and shops close by as well. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, good TV choices, lots of seating and a comfortable bed. If it's cool, the heat is primarily from a gas fireplace in the livingroom and wall heater in the bedroom. Worked well for my visit. Air wasn't and issue, just opened the windows for great breezes. This is a farm cottage on a working farm so it has some rustic character. For me that only added to the laid back comfort of the stay. I would definitely book again. And there's is a brand new charcoal grill, Thank You very much!

We were delighted with the cottage, very comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved the chickens visiting outside the cottage each morning. There are some great beach walks within an easy drive, and the area is comfortably rural, while much of the state is a short car ride away. We would definitely return.

Brian and I had a great stay. The place was clean and welcoming. The fireplace worked great and we were plenty warm enough. I had to reach out the host for simple questions and she was quick to respond.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was warm and cozy, with a beautiful backdrop of trees and snow. The fireplace was a great addition and the cottage had everything we needed, including a nice welcome bottle of wine. The goats and chickens were so fun, we loved visiting them and bringing treats. We will definitely return!

Had a lovely time at Eric’s cottage! It’s perfectly stocked for a cozy weekend indoors. The property is beautiful and there’s a nice sense of privacy despite being located near the host’s home.

The Host was welcoming. Left the lights on and made it easy to see when first entering the cottage. Beautiful property and cottage was private and quiet. Easy to contact if we had any questions. Highly recommend.

The cottage was immaculate, cozy, well stocked and very comfortable. The location is so convenient to many things. Catherine & Eric are wonderfully thoughtful hosts. If we ever need to stay in the area again we know where we'll choose to stay. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Once inside this little cottage, it was a cozy and a delight, pictures accurate. When we arrived, the cottage siding looked like it needed sprucing up and upon first entry there was a slight musty smell, which dissipated quickly. It was spotless and had everything you would need. Kitchen well-stocked, towels plentiful, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash. Check-in was easy. Shower a tad small, but water pressure good. A couple times the hot water seemed to cool, and toilet filled slowly but not a game-changer. My mom found the bed comfortable. The bed area near the fireplace would be for a small person/child, but I would not recommend. This place is perfect for two people. We loved the chickens/rooster/goats in the back that we could see through some windows. We enjoyed the quiet, quaintness and loved the décor. It is approximately 40 minutes to Newport; had dinner at The Dory close by and the Black Whale in Bedford, MA, 30 minutes away. Recommendations left on the table of nearby restaurants/places were helpful. Overall, a great place and I would stay here again!

Everything was Perfect

An amazing place to stay. The space is very comfortable. And the property is a pretty farm with animals u can spend time watching. I thoroughly enjoyed it would definitely stay again!

I loved staying at the Christmas Tree Farm. The cottage is very comfortable and was perfect for us. We would wake up, get our coffee and go outside to say hello to the goats, chickens and roosters. It reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas movie set. The town of Tiverton does not disappoint! Driving around town will experience beautiful landscapes from sailboats on the water, to stonewalls for miles surrounding farm land and true New England style homes.

We had a great stay, quiet, enjoyed the walk around the property, great town and great food close by.

Lovely little cottage! Everything the two of us needed. Quiet, comfortable and well appointed. They even provided some simple condiments, fresh local coffee, a bottle of wine and their own local honey! Visiting the farm stand and being able to walk the farm was great too. Just a simple slice of heaven in Rhode Island.

We had a great stay here. Had everything we needed. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We loved the charm of the setting, including the goats and chickens and, of course, being on a Christmas tree farm! Would look forward to returning.

So much care was put into insuring that we had a comfortable stay at this quaint cottage nestled in a site that include friendly goats, chickens, beehives – and yes of course Christmas trees. We enjoyed fresh eggs, herbs and honey from the on-site farm stand. It’s only a five-minute drive to the Four Corners area with food choices that range from fine gourmet dining to good old homemade ice cream in waffle cones, and shopping that ranges from curated imported specialties to down and weathered, local antiques. The accommodation has a casual quality with all the conveniences you would want. In the evenings we watched the sun go down against the treetops, enjoying our meals al fresco. Our hosts were delightful. Thank you!

This is the fifth year that I’ve rented this place and I love it. It’s very private simple all on one floor.

From beginning to the end of our week at the Clark Christmas Tree Farm we enjoyed every minute. Everything about the property including the hosts was first rate. We will make every effort to book our 2026 vacation there.

Cozy cottage on quiet farm, enjoyed visiting the chickens, goats and farm stand. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The air conditioner, fans and dehumifier kept it comfortable during the hot weather.

My husband and I stayed in this cute cozy place for six nights. Very welcoming, great location and awesome hosts. Eric and Catherine have made sure you have everything you could need, very well appointed place. Easy communication and welcome packet with all kinds of information along with pamphlets and flyers and maps were very helpful. We were very thankful for all of the great recommendations on restaurants, shops and especially ice cream ! Nice peaceful location and centrally located, easy to get to popular destinations / sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and if we make it back to Rhode Island we would love to stay there again. Thank you Catherine and Eric!

Great cottage separated from the main house. Short drive to four corners, convenient for a longer drive into Providence.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Eric and Catherine’s place. There are a lot of nearby restaurants, beaches, and things to do. Eric and Catherine are kind enough to provide recommendations, maps, and brochures of must see locations, like Newport.

We had a lovely stay. Our hostess was very accomodating.There were goats and chickens and a beautiful Koi pond.We were already familiar with the area, so the information packet hit all the high points.

Great place to stay, rural, in a beautiful setting, with goats, in a sweet little town, Tiverton, with easy access to whatever needs you have in the gorgeous seaside state of Rhode Island.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tiverton Christmas Tree Cottage. We arrived on a very rainy afternoon and everything was super easy and convenient and the home so lovely, we decided to stay home for the rest of the evening! It was in a great location for us to spend a couple of days exploring the area. Five Stars for sure!

If you want a place that is not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle this is your place. Quiet and very laid back. We loved it.

This cottage was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend in RI! It offered everything we were looking for and the property is beautiful. There was a lot of great information for visitors provided by the hosts!

We come to Tiverton for a hockey tournament every April. This year, we decided to stay in a VRBO and landed on the Christmas Tree cottage. The property was beautiful and relaxing and easy to find. The cottage itself was a decent size for 2 adults and a teenager. The kitchen is small but well stocked. We made delicious breakfasts and dinners each day during our 4-day stay with ease. There is a slight musty smell, mostly in the bedroom, but it got better the longer we were there (or we got used to it?) it was not a deal breaker though. Washer/dryer was easily accessible and an amenity we took advantage of. The best part of the property? The GOATS that are a mere 10 or so steps from the cottage’s side door! We found ourselves out visiting with them multiple times a day. We also loved walking through the growing Christmas tree farm. In the info pack the owners provided, they talked about the tree farm, its history, and what we would see walking around. I loved that extra detail because it made me appreciate my stroll around the farm that much more. The info guide is chockful of useful info about the property and surrounding area. Foghead Beach is less than 1.5 miles up the road and we visited it twice during the weekend. LOTS of shells and no one around. Overall, we had a wonderful time here. If we are in the area again next year, we hope to book a stay again here.

This was the 2nd, maybe 3rd (?) time I've stayed at Christmas Tree Farm and I hope to be able to come again soon. It's close and convenient to everything and it's cozy and quiet. I love visiting!!

We were looking for someplace to stay besides a hotel room. Searched VRBO for the area we were staying and we found this perfect cottage in Tiverton RI. The price per night was very competitive to local hotels but we got so much more! Privacy, amenities and roomy.b. Host were excellent to deal with and we would definitely book this cottage on our next trip to RI

Solo weekend retreat at this idyllic 8-acre Christmas tree farm was quiet and a nice re-set / nod to simpler times. Visited in January and it snowed while I was touring the farm! Perfect set-up for one person or a couple. Would actually move in permanently - it was that lovely! Location is right near four corners/groundswell, so you are equal parts secluded and connected to local shops/cafes. There were even goats, one of which I nicknamed Tom Brady. Looking good in retirement Tom! Take it easy! Many thanks to the hosts & and your pup too!

This is such a cozy little place to stay! Everything was very clean and comfortable, hosts had great communication, and we had no issues. Loved our time here and hope to be back next time we’re in the area!

I had a 4 day stay and everything was lovely! the town was small and quaint and perfect distance to newport and providence (30 mins). The Vrbo was clean, comfortable, and we utilized the board games they had. We walked the grounds of the farm and it was so beautiful. Had everything we needed.

Cottage is small but well equipped. The welcome gifts were wonderful and very thoughtful. The property is close enough to a few different points of interest like Dartmouth and Newport, as well as some other areas we werent aware of but found very unique. The welcome packet dies a great job of highlighting things to do in the area.

Excellent as always. Our Fourth year. Tiverton and Fall River have lots to offer. The privacy here is appreciated as well.

The cottage was in easy driving distance of a variety of interesting activities, hiking, sight-seeing and visiting museums and sites of historic significance.

The host had a bottle of wine and flowers which was a nice touch.? The place had everything we needed and was very clean. The only negative, was my wife is is allergic to mold and that bothered her somewhat, but we enjoyed our visit.
