Provencal and authentic farmhouse with olive trees and a magnificent swimming pool

Property was very nice and clean. Apartment rented has two stories 1 BR diwnstairs and 2 BRs upstairs. The apartment is approximately 40 minutes by car north of Avignon so this location was a little ways out of the way, but still had easy access by car to sites in Orange and to Papal Palace, Pont du Gare, and Nimes.Owner were definitely more comfortable with French than English, so we had some challenging conversations, but we were able to make due with us just English speakers.

A nice original building (Mas) converted to holiday accommodation with everything needed provided. The large circular swimming pool and accompanying shade from nearby trees in the garden were great for cooling down. Located on the edge of a village, a car is essential to make the most of what the area has to offer. The property owners were friendly and very helpful with advice about local things to do and places, like restaurants, to visit. Happy to make a return visit in the future.

What a fantastic place to stay! We arrived at Mas de Ziguy and were welcomed with a smile and a lot of advice concerning the house. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom. The 4 children (between 9 and 11y) slept in the open room. But this was perfect for them! All rooms have wooden blinds outside to keep the light out and the warmth. But each piece has Airconditioning, which was more than welcome in summer. All beds were made upon arrival and the house had everything we needed. The garden was fabulous. A lot of nice corners. Space for outside dining, a great pétanque place, a wonderful large pool, ping pong, table football, … I cannot recommend enough! You found what you are looking for, without a doubt! We definitely come back! Thank you Guy and Pascale for this great stay! Hosts who were close by when you needed them, for a friendly talk, but with such discretion mostly didn’t notice they were there next door!

Lovely gite with exceptional Roman round pool, excellent for swimming and relaxing. Lovely grounds with plenty of space to relax in the sun or in shade. Guy and Pascale were very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive as they live next door. Great location for visiting Orange, Pont du Gard, etc.

Location truly beautiful, facilities including garden and grounds magnificent and Pascale & Guy wonderful hosts. Very experienced owners, everything was carefully explained down to the details of how to use the Petanque piste! Perfect venu for outside living, both sun and shade available. The piscine was just wonderful. We had a brilliant family holiday.

The property has everything that you could ask for and more! The location is good, the house is well equipped, the garden is beautiful and the pool is amazing! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors, and lots of added extras. Guy and Pascale are delightful, thoughtful hosts - they’re if you need them but also leaving you to your own time. We can highly recommend - and hope to return in the future!

My family of three rented this gite and we were impressed the moment we arrived. Inside the property was modern while retaining a lot of traditional features, extremely clean, comfortable and well styled, thanks to owner Pascale’s talent as an artist. The three bedrooms were very spacious, each with en-suite, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and there was air conditioning throughout which was very welcome in August. Outside was very spacious. There were lots of seating areas (both in the shade and in the sun) and apart from the lovely pool, there was an area to play boules, and a large canopied area for outdoor eating. The location was a great base for lots of Provence villages and towns and there is a lot of useful tourist information in the property so you can plan days out with ease. We had hired a car so went to a number of places including Avignon, L’isle sur la Sorgue and Aix and enjoyed visiting several farmer’s markets. The lovely hosts Guy and Pascale live next door and while they are available for any help, they were respectful and gave us privacy. I would definitely return and would recommend this place for anyone who wants to explore what Provence has to offer. Thank you for your hospitality Guy and Pascale!
