The property is gorgeous. View out the picture window you can see all the way to the lake. Beds were clean. And the kitchen had most of what you eould need. Our host was quick to respond. Everything was as he said it would be. There were 5 of us stayed 3 nights. And the only trash bag we could find was in the kitchen can. Not even in the bathroom cans. We had to use our grocery bags to take out the trash before we left. Also. My daughter dried off with a towel in the master bathroom the covered her in black hair. I can see where it would be great for hunters. And all in all, we had a nice time.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. A little distance from town but that’s what we like. Very peaceful and a unique old house.

The land itself was beautiful. The view from the back porch was wonderful. We didn't see any evidence of hogs, there was no trails to any of the ponds. Well there was one trail that was a bit overgrown but you could still see it to get to one pond. It was beautiful but it needed cleaning up a bit. The fenced in picnic area in the backyard was good for dogs. Over grown. The view of the land was the best feature. Back porch in one area if not careful you would go through. Opening the house doors was bad. The smell was soo bad. It had to be aired out a lot. I spoke with the host about a complaint on mice. He assured me it had been taken care of. I don't think this place had truly been cleaned. We found mouse poop all over in the kitchen. Along the floors in the bunkbed room, and living room. Water heater closet had mouse poop all over. The last day we were there we found a dead mouse right by my kids clothes. Wasn't there when we got there. Found these little storage containers with poop in them. I can understand finding a mouse given its in the country but this was evidence of a mouse invasion and lack of cleaning before we showed up. The beds were horrible, they felt like we were sleeping on springs. Looking back in reviews someone stated this and host said they would replace the one bed. That doesn't seem to be the case. Its very unfortunate we really wanted it to be one we would come back come deer season. There really wasn't much comfortable sitting room. Disappointed

Overall, descent spot for 15-20 minutes access to multiple fishing spots on the Northern part of Lake Eufuala. Kitchen is well stocked, central A/C, and private. Ponds are nice to look at. No real access to the lake from the property especially when the lake is up. Would have given 4 stars, but rodent droppings throughout the house including the beds, some plumbing issues, and less than expected lake access from property.

If your looking for a house that is off the beaten path then this is it. We loved the location but if it rains very much you better have a truck and probably need 4wd. It rained a couple of inches the day we arrived and we needed 4wd to get to the house with our boat. The mattresses leave something to be desired for sure as you sink to the frame and can feel every spring. Minus those two things the house was exactly what we were looking for. The only other complaint was that the loghting leaves something to be desired but that could easily be fixed with some new light bulbs.what we were looking for. The bngcould

Family Truly enjoyed our stay. Place was great for us and our two dogs. The huge property gave our labor-doodle plenty-of space to run and enjoy. The house was very comfortable and allowed us to not only spread out, but also host a few Other family members for a great Thanksgiving Dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful area. There were only a couple of minor things that we would have preferred been different. 1) no water pressure in kitchen sink; 2) the double-size mattress has seen better days; 3) the sustain peddle on the piano doesn't work. I was thrilled when I saw that there was a piano, but it wasn't in working condition; 4) it would be nice if the front porch steps had a hand rail. But overall, very pleasant stay.

Great place outside of town. Nice big property to venture out a little, a couple of little ponds for kids to fish in, catch some grasshoppers and they've got it made. Great communication with the hosts. Will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we are in the area.

the water pressure in the kitchen was bad and we literally could not find the ponds but those are my only two complaints . The reviews abt the ac being trash are people who just don’t know how to use it tbh, my group figured it out and it got icy cold. The pictures don’t do the place justice it is way better in person . The tv worked and the rooms were nice . There were great cooking utensils . I thoroughly enjoyed the place me and my group had the best time . Thank you for a great stay :)

No water pressure. AC kept shutting off. Beds Hard as a Rock. Pond was as big as a pool. Duck pond was the sewer. Deck bought ready to collapse. Not worth $175/night

Dave was a awesome man! Quick to respond and a lot of help for finding stuff around the lake! The ranch house has lake access right off the property and a incredible view of the lake right off the back patio. I can't wait to schedule another visit to this same place! We had an incredible 4th of July with memories that will last a life time! Thank you Dave!
