Private Contemporary Artist's Tree House on two acres with perennial gardens.

What a beautiful, private, peaceful, and comfortable stay; we were so close to so many wonderful attractions and great restaurants and a nice grocery store. Our host was amazing. We had a very long day of travel due to cancelled flights and delayed flights. After almost 17 hours of travel, we were greeted by Brian and he walked us through the property and even assisted with our luggage. You can feel the love that the owners have for this property. We woke the next morning to see the beautiful flowers on our deck. The Dahlias were amazing as well as the trees. It was private, clean, and cozy. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We will definitely be back. Thank you to our gracious host.

My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing experience. When we arrived, we met with our host, Brian. Brian was friendly, accommodating and helpful. He gave us a tour of the property and pointed out the features of our space. Brian also provided a well thought out list of local restaurants and points of interest. Having been to Maine a number of times in the past, we were somewhat familiar with the area, but it was refreshing to get a locals opinion. We enjoyed privacy and peace with a separate entrance to our two story quarters. The hot tub was wonderful after a long hard day of playing traveler. The location was perfect for us. Cape Elizabeth is a suburban town very close to all the action in Portland, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We were within a few minutes drive to lighthouses, hiking trails and other quaint, small towns on the Maine coast. Thank you, Brian & Jocelyn - two thumbs up!!! We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend staying at their property.

Spotlessly clean, well appointed, and beautifully designed and decorated. Terrific location close to nature walks, multiple beaches, and excellent food. Dog friendly too. Absolutely perfect. Host was thoughtful, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing stay! Brian and Jocelyn have a beautiful home, tucked away in the trees on a gorgeous lot with a beautiful garden. The home is in a perfect location right near Portland/South Portland, with quick access to many restaurants, beaches, national parks, and much more. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Our stay at this tree house was absolutely amazing! The hosts were exceptional—they accommodated us with an early check-in since our flight arrived early, gave us a personal tour, and provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Even before our trip, they sent a detailed guide with restaurants, local tours, and tips, which was incredibly helpful.The house itself was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable. The backyard and perennial gardens were beautiful, and our 7-year-old goldendoodle loved exploring the space. The driveway was easy to access, and everything about the property was convenient. I appreciated the espresso cups and the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking simple when we decided to dine in.The atmosphere of the home was warm and inviting, and the location was perfect—just 15 minutes from downtown Portland and close to state parks and beaches. I would give this property a 10/10 and highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely wonderful stay and so glad we found this gem. Close to all the best beaches but still easy to get to Portland for the great food scene. The hosts were helpful and accommodating - we had lost luggage delivered and they made sure we got a it. The space was clean, very livable and beautifully designed. We’ll definitely be back when we visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay with Brian and Jocelyn. The tree house was cozy and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable, restful stay. We were in Cape for a noisy family reunion so it was nice to come back to the quiet tree house with the breeze blowing through the bedroom windows.Brian was extremely responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The property is beautiful and the hosts are kind and welcoming, ensured privacy, were responsive to needs. It was summertime and particialty hot for the area a few days and they gave us advice on keeping it comfortable but it did hit 80 degrees in the living area, while the AC kept the bedroom cool. There are bugs, it cant be helped so if you cant handle ants and spiders think twice. There was soap scum in the bathroom but otherwise it felt very clean. Location 5 minutes away from fort williams park and the beach and 15 away from portland was ideal. Country setting with everything close by. Would stay again. Caution, the geese will try and nibble your toes.

We loved our stay with Brian and Jocelyn! The apartment was cozy, clean, and well provisioned. Brian was an excellent host and super responsive, even going the extra mile to make sure our ice pack was frozen for our long drive home. The hot tub was lovely and clean. Easy access to Old Port Portland via bike or car. Quiet neighborhood. It was lovely to watch the fireflies in the garden at night and enjoy the beautiful flowers during the day. Please note that there is no freezer and no AC in the main area but the windows and fans and the AC unit in the bedroom are sufficient. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd stay and as before the property didn’t disappoint. We enjoy the location near family in South Portland, but it provides a comfortable and scenic rest away from activities. We always enjoy walking at Two Lights, Fort Williams and Higgins Beach just short drives from this location. We had memorable dining experiences at Scales and Luke Lobster at nearby Portland. Enjoying our morning coffee on site among the scenic gardens, birdsong and wildlife is a treasure. The hosts are supportive and helpful though never intrusive. We look forward to a future return.

This property is so beautiful!! Great location to explore tons of places. Picturesque and peaceful is an understatement! The bedroom is like being in the clouds surrounded by an Apple tree and a beautiful backyard! Wall to wall windows allow you to view the night sky and the moon! The dogs and the geese are also a plus with their adorable greetings! Brian was a great host! Thank you for everything! Rob & Jill

Brian was very welcoming, great to work with and very available. I would have loved to see the property in bloom. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the morning light. Our only challenge was not quiet enough lighting in the kitchen area.

Very homey, very clean, comfortable bed. All we needed during our stay was procedez. The host was extremely responsive and courteous. We will like to visit again and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed this artist’s apartment very much. Had everything we needed, very clean and well designed furnishings. The grounds were lovely! Communication was excellent. Convenient to beaches, Portland sites and restaurants. Would highly recommend 👍

Fine time in Portland

The location and environment were ideal, access to the beach and to Portland and away from the summer crowds contributed to our restorative time in Cape Elizabeth. Our interactions with Brian were warm and kind and the space itself romantic and full of an artist's touch. The beauty of the space and it's surrounds were only made more complete with the presence of Charlotte, Jane and Elizabeth, pet geese . This is truly a special place. Carol and Fred

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property and the kind couple who hosted us. Brian was exceptionally kind and helpful to get us settled in the space. The garden and general scenery were so well cared for - a treat to be a guest! Everything about the lodging was so intentional and thoughtful. We loved being so close to all the things but on a sweet & quiet street.

My wife and I had the best time here. It was so close to all of the most beautiful places in Portland. Very quiet and relaxing. Everything you could want from Maine!! Brain was an awesome host and gave us the best recommendations for dinning and site seeing.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Brian and Jocelyn's property. The listing is exactly as described, and we enjoyed using the grill and the hot tub. The gardens are beautiful, and we loved seeing the geese greet us by our car. Although it was getting hot outside, we remained completely comfortable opening the bedroom windows at night; we barely used the AC provided. Some great local places are nearby- I recommend Red's Dairy Freeze for some delicious soft serve. This location is ideal for day trips as we explored Portland, Kennebunkport, Freeport, and Boothbay. Brian went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and gave us some excellent suggestions on local beaches. Thank you, Brian and Jocelyn!
