Pristine, renovated beach cottage; walk to Lavallette town center & beaches.

The hosts were just wonderful. Even when there was a brief problem with the internet they worked together, diligently, to find a solution. The location is perfect with the beach and bay just blocks in either direction.It was a great stay.

A Perfect Stay in Lavallette!My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in a charming little cottage in Lavallette, New Jersey. From the moment we arrived, our hosts were exceptional—warm, friendly, and incredibly communicative. They made us feel right at home.The cottage was spotless—meticulously clean and thoughtfully maintained. Its central location was ideal—just steps to the Bay, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets, and a short stroll to the ocean side for stunning sunrises.What made our stay even more special were the thoughtful extras provided by the hosts. They offered kayaks, bikes, and crab cages—all available for us to enjoy, adding a fun and memorable touch to our beach getaway.It was the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and natural beauty. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend.

Rented the property for a week with my son and his partner in tow. Great fit for our crew—comfortable beds and linens, plenty of space for the three of us in the living/dining area, spotless and well-appointed kitchen. Kristen and her husband are great hosts and thought of everything—bikes, chairs, towels, wagons to tote all to beach. Did I mention there’s a lovely outdoor space complete with grill and an outdoor shower? A quick jump to bay for sunset, a two-block walk to beach. Hope to visit again—thank you for designing a great shore experience. And thanks for the perfect weather!

My Family and I stayed in the cottage for a week and it was a great experience. Michael and Kristin really keep a very clean, neat, and organized home and property. The cottage is beautiful! They have thought of every detail to make your trip as flawless as possible and added bed rails to one of the beds for the kids. The outside seating area was perfect and we loved having a clothes line to dry beach towels and bathing suits. The location of the property is great as well with plenty of parking. The bay and the gazebo are a few short steps away with the best views of the sunset and playgrounds for the kids. Throughout the week they also have concerts and movie nights at the gazebo the whole family can enjoy. The walk to the beach is just a couple of blocks and the beaches are beautiful here. We really can’t say enough great things and we look forward to staying here again.

What a great cottage with every detail covered! Our family had a wonderful vacation back at The Shore. The accommodations were everything plus more. Thank you to Kristin and Mike for the great hospitality. We will definitely be back.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The house was spotless and a great size for a family of 4. Everything was so simple- from the keyless entry, fresh sheets and towel, and modern finishes. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness, toddler rails were put on the bed, the beach wagon stocked with toys, and Disney music playing on entry. Also the location is awesome, in the heart of town by the park and shops!

The cottage was beautifully decorated and new! Everything you could have think of that you needed was there. Kitchen had every amenity! Beautiful beach towels and bath towels provided! Excellent outdoor space for hanging out, playing cornhole or eating. Bike rack was perfect for our bikes! Outdoor shower was key. Kristen and Michael definitely thought of everything! Highly recommend!!

Amazing place

We recently stayed at this beach house and had an amazing experience! The cleanliness of the place was top-notch, which made our stay comfortable and worry-free. The updated features throughout the house added a modern touch that we really appreciated. Everything we could possibly need was provided, making it feel like a home away from home. The size of the cottage was just perfect for our group, offering plenty of space. The location is fantastic – just a short walk to the beach and close to local shopping and restaurants. The interior decor is beautifully done, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this rental and would love to come back again in the future!
