Pioneer Park Cottage, 2 BR/2 BA Downtown Historic Bardstown

This property is a gem! Very quiet neighborhood only steps from downtown. I have stayed here twice. Cute and quaint little house. Love the private outdoor space as well.

Wonderful place in the heart of Bardstown! We enjoyed it so much!

We loved our time at this adorable cottage! The location was perfect for us, check in was as easy as could be, and it had absolutely everything we needed. I wish the weather hadn't been rainy, as we'd have loved to be able to sit and enjoy the beautiful backyard.

House was nice , clean and close to restaurants. No screen doors or screen on windows so if you want fresh air in house you will have a few bugs inside. A few Snacks provided but all stale. Bring flips or slippers as rugs were very

An amazing house. It was convenient to downtown Bardstown, we were able to walk to everything. The house was incredibly clean. It was a nice home base for our Kentucky derby week.

This house was clean, comfortable and stocked with snacks and coffee. We enjoyed our two nights here while touring distilleries on the Bourbon Trail.

This house was so nice and clean. Also close enough to walk downtown. Very well equipped.

Great location & home. Loved the charm & thoughtfulness of host i.e. snacks, coffee, makeup washcloths, backyard lighting. Only tips for future is that kitchen only had 3 coffee cups & 2 teaspoons. Pillows were not soft or fluffy. Otherwise wonderful!!

This is just the cutest house and central to all things in Bardstown. Very clean, nice furniture, nice new kitchen and a lovely outdoor patio area for sitting and having coffee. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area

Me and my sisters booked this cottage to take my Mom here for a weekend getaway for her 60th birthday. We all absolutely loved this cottage, it was clean and cozy!! We will be back!

This cottage was charming! Although it was an older home, it was completely updated and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It was 90 degrees but we still enjoyed the shaded patio and there was usually a nice breeze. The location couldn't have been better. It was residential but less than two blocks from shopping and restaurants. Loved the bourbon coffee provided by the owner! Highly recommend this home!

Was perfect for what we needed.

The house is charming, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. The listing photos do not oversell. Many properties claim to be in a prime location for walking, but actually aren’t that great. This house is right where we wanted to be in Bardstown. It is a 3-4 minute walk to get to the square and much of what the town itself has to offer. Everything else was less than a 10 minute drive. We wanted to stay an extra day. The house was available and the property manager accommodated our request quickly and pain free. If we were visiting Bardstown again, we would 10/10 stay here again.

The house is a very charming older home. We enjoyed our stay although a little hectic with the Derby! Would love to return sometime soon and explore Bardstown and enjoy all of the charm this home has to offer!!

Girls' weekend over 60. We loved the quick walk to bars, shops and dining! So much to do here! We toured a horse farm, My Old Ky Home, Abbey at Gethsemane, Had a lunch excursion on the Ky Dinner train. The only way to make it more than perfect would be a little Keurig coffee maker. Btw, there is a lovely drip machine.

Great location for walking to restaurants and shops downtown. Easy to maneuver in and out of town to distilleries around Bardstown.

Stayed for a couple days at Pioneer Place on the first stop of our spring break trip, Very cute! Comfortable and well appointed, it was the perfect spot to relax, play cards and cook a light dinner. Great host, great stay!

Everything was great

We were able to comfortably walk to everything in the downtown area. The house was clean and just what we needed for our weekend.

It was cold, but the house was cozy. Great location for walking around town.

Pioneer Park Cottage is walking distance to shopping, restaurants, churches and other interesting places to visit. The cottage is super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hostess was wonderful! She quickly responded to my texts and she provided snacks, coffees and teas for us. The beds were very comfy with several pillows, there were plenty of linens and a washer and dryer for our use, nice dishes and several utensils for our cooking needs. The cottage is very old, but nicely renovated and has a real southern charm. I will keep this in mind as a place to visit again. We had reservations for the weekend and we all hated to leave as we were enjoying our stay so much! Thank you Margaret Sue all you did to make our weekend so enjoyable!

This cottage is very nicely decorated with large bedrooms. So clean and comfortable. Close to the main downtown area. Having a side driveway is great! The backyard patio is quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room for two couples to enjoy their visit. Highly recommend it.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed. So close to historic downtown. Perfect size for 2 couples. Lovely outdoor areas. Just the best experience!

Nice clean house conveniently located.

We enjoyed our stay so much last year we decided to return. The cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean and well stocked with amenities. Best of all is the location - a short walk to all of the best restaurants, bars and stores in Bardstown.
