Guests tell me the photos don't do the cottage and property justice. Read our reviews. Very private. Clean. Lots of space. Drive down to the beach. The East side of Seneca Lake has lots of sun and beautiful sunsets. 100 foot dock. New windows, doors and mini-split ac/heat. Ten miles from Geneva for shopping, movies, and food. Two Five Star restaurants within 15 miles. Each year we renovate another part of our little cottage and many of our guests and their pets return every year. Onebedroom with two double beds and a large living room with one pull out couch can sleep 4. Cottage is 880 square feet so best for 2-4 people. Minimum stay is 3 nights except July and August when we only rent by the week (Saturday 3 pm to Saturday 10 am). Cozy but may be too small for anyone 6 foot 2 or over. New kitchen appliances, cupboards, air conditioning, and microwave. We added a pellet stove for visits in the early spring or late fall for wine tours, an aluminum boat for fishing, a canoe and 2 kayaks for sunsets on the lake. For further information, call or e-mail me. It is a lovely place to relax.

Enjoy the quiet - pets welcome. Guests and their pets return every year. One of the few places with no stairs to the lake. Everyone enjoys swimming in the lake, laying on the dock, visiting the wineries (we have three within 7 miles and a brewery) and local restaurants. Others have ventured to Ithaca, Rochester, and Canandaigua to visit museums, gourmet restaurants, and historic sites. The bedroom is above the lake so when you wake up in the morning, you can see right onto the lake. The kitchen and dining area are on the bottom floor and look right onto the water. There are many places to walk including a two mile hike up to Sampson State Park.

If you need to get away from the stress of your life, this is the place.

Enjoy the Lake: This is NOT for you IF you want a high energy vacation. See the herons land on the dock each evening and the ducklings come by each morning. The waves will rock you to sleep. Swim and kayak during the day. Take out the rowboat to fish. Have beach fires at night and visit our many wonderful wineries, breweries, and restaurants nearby. WIFI but no cable TV (just DVD movies). We suggest you relax and get away. This is truly the country and as our friend Simon says, They aren't building any more lakes.

Our new favorite place on Seneca Lake. Cindy is a wonderful host that quickly answered all questions prior to arrival, and explained the accommodations and history of the house when we arrived. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything visitors need. We loved the five separate lakeside seating areas so much that we skipped visiting wineries to enjoy this rental. Looking forward to future stays.

Was attending a wedding at a nearby winery and decided to make a week of it by staying at this house on the lake. So glad we did as the weather was unseasonably warm for October. We were able to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces which there are many as well as the kayaks on the water. Great sunset views! The house is comfortable and well appointed with all the kitchen essentials to prepare meals. The living space provides ample seating for entertainment viewing (Roku streaming device included) and there is a table / chairs in that area as well. The location is conveniently located near wineries and several farm markets for supplies. Would stay here again.

Perfect cottage for our long weekend. Meets the description and is perfectly clean. Fishing off the dock produced largemouth & smallmouth bass, perch, and bullhead.

Spotless inside, delightful outside. You'll need to rent a houseboat to stay closer to the water. Cindy is an ideal host and will help you in any way to need. The cottage is exactly as advertised and our stay could not have been better.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Weather was absolutely perfect! Loved sitting on the dock just enjoying the view, and the dogs loved it too! My husband took the rowboat out a few times and had fun with that. Would definitely stay here again!

Cindy is a wonderful host, and the home is organized perfectly for visitors. EVERYTHING you might need is available and easy to find. She has even included towels for the dogs after swimming (there are linens and towels for humans too!) Couches are freshly covered for people and dogs to relax on together. Yet the whole place is immaculate...you would never know other dogs and people were there before you. The cottage is welcoming and relaxing with lake views from every window. The water's only a few feet away and you can hear the waves lapping at the shore. The downstairs bathroom is clean and attractive. Upstairs, the bedroom has big windows over the water and its own rear outside door lets in the fresh lake air. Outside is laid out perfectly for your enjoyment. There is a porch by the entrance with an umbrella table and chairs. Scattered alongside the wide shore line are Adirondack chairs, a campfire all laid out (with extra wood nearby), and another deck area with table and chairs under the trees. It always has a lake breeze and shade (they call it the cafe). Within minutes of arrival we were settled in there and the dogs were in the lake swimming! The cottage location on Seneca Lake is surrounded by small towns which are fun to explore, and the City of Geneva is 15 minutes away if you're looking for more. We also enjoyed the town of Waterloo and their fun Drive-in food restaurant and diner. Come visit...just don't take my week...we'll be back! Thanks, Cindy!

Perfect location! Stunning views from this charming cottage on the lake. And I mean ON the lake! Water is mere steps away, our pups loved swimming and the privacy to roam free. A shaded area for hot days, and a beautiful dock to enjoy the sunset. Floatation, kayaks, canoe all readily available. Cottage is absolutely spotless and very well taken care of. Host is nearby if needed, very kind and welcoming. Had a great stay, will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place to stay! The owner is right nearby, and very gracious, communicative and helpful. She provides a full tutorial on all the home's systems, as well as its history. The home is immaculately clean, and well-appointed. Great air conditioning (if needed), but the windows provide incredible lake breezes. The views are lovely, the sunsets are incredible. The place is VERY dog friendly -- so much so that the owner publishes a little book of canine visitors for each year. The home is RIGHT on the water, and the lake is pretty quiet -- not a ton of boat traffic. There's a huge state park nearby with some good hiking and biking. HIGHLY recommended.
