Stayed May 16, 2025Awesome location near great restaurants and fairly close to Seabus to get across water! Not the fanciest place but not listed as such. Bathroom is on the humid side and lawn was so long hard to navigate and retrieve dog waste. Overall would stay again.

Stayed Jun 16, 2023Liked the king sized bed & lil cot. Good communication with host. Felt insecure at night as two windows didn’t have a lock on them and could have easily been opened from the street. The parking place in back lane is not clearly marked…& no lights in back lane if one arrives late at night. The evenings were a tad chilly so we kept windows closed; as a result, we became aware of a strong musty smell in the place, which was not good for our health. 7. Only one sofa bed was functional in common area; the other one was broken. Cooking Pans were ancient.

Stayed Nov 27, 2025There was a really bad, musty, moldy smell. The coaches in the living room were incredibly uncomfortable. The location was convenient and it was nice that the Dog could be with us.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025It was tidy - but not clean. It was comfortable enough until we tried to sleep. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable even for my 100 lb child - he said he could feel the springs. The king size bed was quite uncomfortable as well, we ended up leaving early because we couldn't do another night. My husband barely slept because his back ached all night, and the motion transfer while we tried to get comfortable was worse than a waterbed. Communication with host was good, location and amenities were good, but overall I wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed Sep 7, 2025It was the perfect location for us and was the perfect size and layout for the 4 of us to stay comfortably. We used the seating area outside quite a bit and the dogs had free roam of the back yard. Thanks Elvi!

Stayed Jul 16, 2025This place was okay for our needs but it was hot when we were there and it’s listed as having air conditioning which we were looking forward to. There was only air conditioning in the bedroom which left the rest of the space uncomfortably hot even with the fans provided by the host. Was nice to have laundry available. This host also accused us of damage afterwards so I would fully document the condition when you leave to prevent this. Would not return to this property for that reason.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025My wife and I stayed for 6 nights. The location was great, it was around a 15-minute walk to Lonsdale Quay, and several brew pubs and restaurants. From the Quay you can take the seabus to downtown Vancouver, for even more things to do. We took the sea walk out to the Aquarium. The host were very courteous. The pictures of the house are very accurate, and the place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025My family of 4 which includes 2 19 year olds stayed here for 3 nights. We were on a 2 week road trip and this gave us a chance to spread out and relax. There was plenty of room and even a little privacy as needed. Great location as it is a few blocks from the busy part of town, but close enough to get to the city and do what we wanted to do.

Stayed Oct 26, 2024Well appointed Laneway house. Everything I needed was there and more. Love that pets were welcome, even my big black dog. Little extras were included that were very thoughtful: Shampoo, soap, lotions, teas etc. A very helpful booklet was left with information included some tips on buses, restaurants etc. Parking was a bit tight for my 4 runner in the back but it is North Vancouver so was happy I didn’t need to park on the street. Very clean, lots of extra blankets etc. I would stay there again. Very quaint and cosy. Lots of room for more than me and my dog. They really have thought of everything.. ❤️

Stayed Oct 12, 2024My husband, and I stayed for 3 nights. We also had our little dog with us. The cottage was clean, well equipped and cozy for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed mainly on the North Shore so the location was perfect. When we did go to Stanley Park and Granville Island it was a very easy drive.

Stayed Sep 11, 2024I had a good stay, the bed was comfortable the place was a decent small lane home reasonably close to bus stops. I will warn the really close buss stops don’t run very late so you are likely to end up having to walk a few blocks up a hill if you end up out late but that’s fine. There is a parking spot out back in the alley that felt good and safe to leave our vehicle for the duration of the stay which was really nice to have. Wouldn’t be able to fit a truck in it but any SUVs and the like would fit nicely. The only caveats I have about the place is that it might be a bit tight if you have a larger group as the living room space where the fold out couch beds are is a little small for the max capacity but it was a great spot and for two people we each got beds that were decent and a bit of privacy. I gave a 4 star on cleanliness because when we arrived there were a fair amount of fruit flies in the kitchen area by the coffee machine but we couldn’t find anything gross or that looked like the cause of them and we weren’t planning to use the coffee maker so it wasn’t really a problem. Everything else was good and clean. Honestly for what you get and being where it is this place was an absolute bargain. Definitely recommend.
