Penny Cottage provided a specious, yet very cosy stay, with excellent, easy access to the Camel Trail for great walks and a complete break in nature. We would definitely recommend!

We stayed for 11 days and loved the house. Wide angle camera lenses often create the illusion of bigger spaces, but this flat really was very spacious. The bedroom was big with a nice bed and plenty of storage (a bigger bed would be ideal). Separate toilet and shower rooms were nice. The kitchen was big and well fitted. The real bonus was the spacious lounge with two couches (although the TV definitely needs to be upgraded). The wood-burning stove was wonderful. The location is super convenient with easy parking, and there is easy walking access to the Camel Trail right from the flat. The door lock was broken so we could never lock the house when we left, but the property always felt very safe and secure. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful barn conversion. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need provided. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed was lovely and comfortable. There is a log burner in the lounge with a supply of wood but we didn’t feel the need to use it as the electric central heating was sufficient for us. Lovely and cosy to return to after a day out. We will definitely be staying there again.

Excellent 7 day relaxing break in the West Country surrounding. Peaceful and clean. Cosy comfortable stay. The only one issue we had was No TV enjoyment as we like to spend lot of time indoors too. Television was just basic with about 8 channels only and when questioned, the owners said that they don’t receive any channels other than basic ones, VERY BORING. They can install SKY to accommodate some more entertainment. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very enjoyable stay, comfy bed and settees, modern bathroom and open plan living kitchen dining areas.I would have liked a bigger tv as we stayed In each evening especially as it was impossible to eat out mon, tue and wed. Lovely to hear the horses past by each morning. We had an horrendous 6 and a half hour Journey to get there, it would have been nice to have a basic welcome pack and would have saved a visit to the shop that evening. Lovely cottage, quiet and well maintained. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful accommodation in a rural setting! Excellent walks via the camel trail 1/2 a mile away (stop at the Borough Arms car park) This is a lovely place any time of year, our Christmas was idyllic with a log fire and cosy comfort! Dog friendly so if the weather is wet take some towels to protect the light carpet in this very well nicely furnished getaway!
