Immerse yourself in nature as you embark on an unforgettable retreat at this woodland cabin overlooking the scenic Toccoa River.

Step onto any of the decks and lose yourself in a world of relaxation, accompanied by the soothing symphony of birdsong and flowing water. Whether you are grilling on the open deck, lounging on the covered deck in the hanging basket chairs, or soaking in the hot tub on the lower deck, each space offers its own slice of paradise with a touch of serenity and bliss.

Inside the second level, the living area beckons with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for gatherings around the flickering flames. Dive into your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV, or explore a myriad of streaming services for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen invites culinary adventures, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a reverse osmosis filter for the well water. In addition to the dining table, multiple options are available to enjoy casual meals, including a raised bar in the kitchen, outdoor seating on the decks.

When the time is right, retreat to one of the two master suites, each with a queen bed and offering a unique blend of privacy, comfort, and sanctuary. The second-level suite provides easy access to the upper covered deck with views of the river through the trees. Indulge your senses in the large bath with the walk in shower, or a two-person soaking tub with views to the adjacent forest.

The top level bedroom offers views through the forest canopy with glimpses of the river below and bird and wildlife antics in the tree tops. Add in a private bath with walk in shower, and you have a recipe for a relaxing end to the many outdoor adventures that are available. Finally, this suite has a separate loft area with a small library and seating for two.

Lastly, the ground level offers multiple options for entertainment and amusement. The three season rec room features a queen sleeper sofa, wet bar/kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, sink), a half bath, a large table, games, and good times, including a large screen TV, multiple board games, and a ping pong table.

Outside on the covered deck, soak in the hot tub while watching the river flow slowly by. To the side is the fire pit area, where evenings come alive with crackling flames and good times under the stars. Anglers will delight in the opportunity to test their skills on-site in the trout fishing stream.

For the adventurous, your retreat on the river is loaded with nearby options all within 30-45 minutes or less. Activities include waterfalls, hiking, whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, golf, and fine dining at the Old Toccoa Farms. Or explore the Blue Ridge Lake Recreational Area. Indulge in the options for shopping, local breweries, wineries, and restaurants that are available in and around Blue Ridge before returning to relax and unwind at your Wildwood River Retreat home base.

Absolutely wonderful long weekend spent with friends. Enjoyed floating the Toccoa River several times (about an hour from property to Horseshoe Bend). Everything was as advertised and the house was very clean. Had difficulty connecting tv to the wifi, but who cares when you are sitting in paradise. We will definately stay here again if the opportunity arises

Nice Location, but a lot of stairs. Not for Handicap.A lot of weeds around the river not easy access to get in the river or fish. The water in the house has a very strong smell.

We enjoyed this quiet, peaceful stay right on the Toccoa River. Our favorite place, when my husband wasn’t fishing, were the swinging porch chairs, overlooking the river. The house and beds were comfortable.

I chose this property for two reasons; 1. its proximity to the Toccoa river my husband is a fisherman and wanted to try out his new fly rod. 2. Our son and his sweet little family rented a cabin in Ellijay and this was their first time staying in North Georgia. So my husband, myself and our daughter, her fiance and their boys decided to come up from South Georgia to get together with them. The property is beautiful, the fire pit is great for smores, and relaxing after a hard day of climbing the steps of the Amicacola Falls. There was a few minor issues with hot tub and some curtains falling off of the rods, however once i contacted the management they sent out a maintenance person and the problems were fixed quickly. If we're ever staying in that area again, i would definitely attempt to lease this property again.

Loved the property, house was great. However house keeping did not unload the dishwasher prior to our arrival. There was hair in the shower drain that was not ours. The washing machine wasn’t working.

Nice home. Well appointed. Steps away from river. Peaceful and quiet. Unfinished basement. Upstairs shower leaked into kitchen.
