If you want a quiet, historic place to stay- stay at Lewis Cottage. Nature all around. Amy and Owen are super host! We loved our 12 day stay and would rtn in heartbeat!!!

There was obviously a problem with mice and ants based upon the number of traps, poison and droppings in the house. The owners were quick to claim that we should have contacted them sooner, my thought is why wasn't this information available in the listings or comments.

This cottage is full of quaint, old-fashioned charm but with thoughtful modern updates and amenities. We were a small party of three for a girls' weekend and had ample room for all we did. The surrounding property is gorgeous - just the quiet and privacy we didn't know we needed when we settled on Nashville for our getaway. We had the best of both worlds - spending mornings chatting in the cottage and afternoons in the city. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches - not just the spartan basics for laundry and kitchen, but everything we needed to cook and do laundry. The bathroom was perfect with its beautiful vanity table. The bedrooms were comfortably, even luxuriously, appointed. We all decided to sleep upstairs and use the bedroom downstairs for our luggage and changing. The king size bed upstairs was raved about by more than one of us. The sectional downstairs was perfect for lounging and chatting and we enjoyed multiple cups of coffee on the cozy front porch. We loved seeing the deer, as well as the beautiful bridge. We may even make this cottage the destination for all our future girls' weekends. Truly a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. We would recommend finding the cottage before dark when you check in. The owners thoughtfully left the lights on for us, but it was a little disorienting after dark.

Very much in need of repair on all accounts. Mushrooms growing in shower. Leaks. Poor A/C.

This was a great place to stay! The house has tons of character and charm. There is everything you will need for a weekend away. We went into Nashville every day and found that the 30 minute drive was a nice scenic one! This is located in the country, so we were able to see deer and listen to the birds. The king mattress was very comfortable! (Better than home mattress!) Side note: Use caution...the bathroom has little ventilation. We used the bathroom fan and a box fan, but the tiled floor was still super slick after a shower. There is a rug right in front of the shower, but adding another rug would help this issue. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I'm in the area.

The cottage was adorable. Very clean and had everything we needed for the week. There is also a very nice yard that our dog and daughter loved playing in. It is 20 miles out of Nashville but the drive is easy and worth it. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Country Cottage. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the big city (Nashville), but close enough to enjoy and get to Franklin, Leiper's Fork and Nashville. It had all we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. We even had a few visits from deer. One morning, they were almost to the hot tub. Nash, our faithful traveling companion, enjoyed walks on the property. Some things that need attention: the hot tub was not serviced before our visit and was quite dirty; there were not outside lights on in the evening anywhere on the property, and turning on the porch lights just brought numerous bugs into the house when we opened the door; since the property is advertised as pet-friendly, it would have been nice if we were made aware of the fact that there was mouse poison set out in two rooms. Not something we wanted our dog to get into. A little attention in the bathroom to the dripping shower and rocking toilet would be an asset. I'm sure the owner's would have fixed these problems if we had brought it to their attention while we were there, but I think these are things that should be part of having the place ready for the renters. Despite these minor glitches, we would stay here again and would recommend the property. It is a lovely, quiet, comfortable area. P.S. Nash and my husband enjoyed the hammock!!

We loved your cottage and it was just what we needed to get away from our busy lives. Cute, cozy and quaint! Small cottage but it fit our family of four perfectly! Loved how the cottage was decorated...I could live there! We went into Nashville one day (American Pickers Museum and Broadway Street was so much fun and only about 25 minutes away) but also took advantage of the surrounding area. We went canoeing/kayaking in Kingston, TN, loved Nashville Shores - great waterpark!, Opry Mills Outlet Mall was perfect on one of our rainy days. So much more to do...we will definitely have to come back. Thank you for renting your cottage to us! We loved it and I highly recommend.
