Beautiful 3 bed/2 bathroom home in resort area, close to beach. It was perfect for what we needed as a large family visiting for a wedding. PROS: -large space for gathering friends and family -cozy and modern -electric fireplace -nice bbq and patio area -comfy beds -quiet resort area close to beach CONS: -upstairs toilet wasn't completely cleaned and the house didn't have any cleaning supplies, so we had to go buy our own lysol wipes. -handle on vacuum cleaner was broken so it kept falling off when we tried to use it. -dishwasher is not secured in place so it falls out when opened. -bbq propane tank was empty so we filled it ourselves. -tv remotes were a little complicated to figure out But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you.

Short walk to beach

We appreciated the space and the nice patio at the back - worked lovely for us, our two daughters and their partners.

Cristie was amazing to deal with! Fast to answer any questions we had. The indoor poor was a hit with the kids. The house had everything we needed for our 5 day stay and was very clean. 2 bathrooms and inhouse laundry were a huge plus. The cottage even had a playpen and highchair for our baby. Close to everything in Parksville. Will be staying again.

Excellent location - walk to the beach. All amenities close. Nice pool and hot tub. House is really nicely appointed. Host is super attentive. Back deck is small but nicely furnished for everyone for meals.

This has been our family go to place to stay. We have never booked anywhere else as i enjoy all the that is has to offer. Parking is great, easy access, the coded door is a bonus so we dont have to worry about keys. The kids really like the pool as it is withon walking distance. Communication is always great never had an issue. We most definitely will be back again.

Had an amazing time, the place was well set up, everything we needed was there, even had beach chairs which was a nice suprise cause I flew down to the island.

Cristie's property is so clean and comfortable and in the perfect location for easily getting to Parksvillle attractions as well as getting quickly to the hwy to travel either nb towards Port Al erni or sb towards Nanaimo. My family had cozy rainy nights in front of the fireplace while watching movies. The kitchen has tons of counter space and most of the equipment needed to cook up some marvelous meals. The complex is so quiet and feels very safe. The house was also conveniently located close to the garbage and recycle bins. The kids enjoyed swimming at the pool as well. Cristie was very accommodating in allowing us an early check in as the rainy weather put an end to my families plans for a beach day. I highly recommend Cristie's home to rent for a getaway. We loved it!

The property is spacious, clean and well appointed. The location is wonderful and very close to the beach.It was very quiet and restful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our host was exceptionally responsive and helpful, and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Parksville and area. Close to Rathtrevor beach and trails. Resort has a wonderful pool and hot tub as well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you again

Great cozy place, worked for our group of friends. Kitchen moderately well equipped, patio nice, beds comfy.

This was our fourth year staying here so we obviously enjoy it. The owner always responded promptly to any questions. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a real draw for my grandchildren. Very satisfied!

Great facilities, short walk to the beach. Accommodations were perfect for 3 adults and 2 kids. It was very clean with all the amenities needed. Christi our host was quick to respond and was very helpful. Definitely want to come back.

Cottage was a home away from home. Everything was wonderful. Had to contact the owner and she was very prompt in her response. We are planning to return next year. The kids loved the bunnies all around the property. The laundry facilities were a plus with two toddlers.

The property was a perfect place for me, my sister and two good friends to celebrate 60 years of being best buds! The house was well equipped, beds were comfortable though the upstairs bedroom was quite hot. I think there were fans in the closet though which would be needed in the summer. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach but was well worth it and we enjoyed the exercise and just being outdoors. You could drive to the beach as well. All in all, a great spot!

Walking distance or short drive to all that the area has to offer. Clean and very comfortable accommodations. Great place to stay.

We needed a place to stay in parksville for our Sons wedding. This villa was perfect. I needed to do wedding hair and the kitchen/ dining room was perfect. Three very nice clean and comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen is well stocked. Lots room. Very clean and bright. Private deck. Although we did not partake in local food or spas. I know that there are lots of choice in the area.

Spacious,well appointed, convenient to everything. Not everything worked in the kitchen though, needs some TLC.It states to be three bedrooms and indeed there are, but one is really a loft bedroom open to the living room, this with little privacy. Moreover the second bathroom is on the loft with the third bedroom. May be perfect for most, but I think the advertisement should be more accurate, as we were actually looking for three private bedrooms. Great place though .

House was very nice, fit us all well, no propane in tank so we filled that up, bought toilet paper cuz it was 1 ply. Was nice to have laundry on site and the pool was very nice. Bring a big pot for crab as there is none. Small appliances are tired and knives we so dull I would bring my own. Cleaning supplies are limited(very little left in bottles) if there are any disasters. Other than that very nicedisasters

My two sisters and I came here for a Sisters 2025 Trip and could not have been happier about our accommodation, the location and the whole area in general. I would not have changed a thing.

The cottage was as expected. Well located, with walking trail nearby and close to stores a restaurants. Beach towels provided for the pool. The small gym was outfitted with new equipment during our visit. Our only complaint is that 2 of the 3 bedrooms had no dressers. One of the bedrooms (the loft area) had no closet as well as no dresser. Check-in and out simple.

Overall, the place was good, but needs some work. Dishwasher needs to be replaced - leaked all over the floor the first time we used it, so did dishes by hand for the rest of the stay. Fridge has a noisy compressor that is annoying. The drains in the downstairs bathroom need to be snaked - not draining properly. The pull out couch bed is old & very uncomfortable. Time to put some money back into your property…..people expect more for what you are charging.

The property was very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was stocked very well with lots of appliances, utensils, etc. Comfy beds, two on the main floor with full bath and a loft with full ensuite. Great little deck with bbq, although too cold in Feb to use. 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Rathstrevor Beach, 15 mins to anywhere else - Coombs, the Nature Reserve, Nanaimo. Nice quiet location with lots of privacy. Highly recommend!

Two of us celebrated our 50th birthdays with a group of friends and had the best time. The cottage was perfect and we had no issues or complaints!

Dinner at the Nlack Goose and a day at the Grotto….perfect!’

This was my families 2nd time staying in this place. We love it. It is always welcoming, clean and never any issues. There is so much room for my family of 7. My kids are all under 11 and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We looking forward to our next teip.

We had a small issue when we arrived at our unit but Cristie made it right and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Would stay again.

Fully stocked home, fantastic location, five minutes from long dog walks, and dog free beaches. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house is in a wonderful location and is well maintained. The only area for improvement would be to send someone right away to fix the dishwasher, as the racks fell out when loading and unloading. Pretty hard on the nerves. I contacted the owner on Wednesday. We were there from Tuesday to Friday and were told no-one could come to look at it until the weekend.

The house was very nice and perfect for our needs. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and all the comfortable furnishings. Beds were comfortable, sheets were soft and we slept well. We very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub and BBQ.

This property had everything our family needed to enjoy the beach during the day and recharge during the evening. Perfect location. Quiet nights. Tidy and well appointed.
