This is a great location with a beautiful view and on amazing lake for fishing.
Had a great time.
Fantastic location, lake right outside the door, fantastic view with wall of windows. Older unit, adequate but could use upgrades. We were there during some colder (40's) nights. Space heaters helped but couldn't run them and microwave at same time due to breakers tripping. Unit has no insulation. I'm sure summertime would have been much more comfortable. Some spiderwebs in closets and remote areas otherwise cleanliness good for an older unit.
The location of the property is amazing! Literally steps from the water. There isn't any heat, and it got a bit chilly during our stay. However there are space heaters and lots of blankets. We're campers so we definitely were ok bundling up just go enjoy the view. The kitchen is small, but we'll stocked and there are plenty of beds! Would love to stay here during the summer when we can have the windows open!
We felt this property was not up to VRBO standards. The cabin may have been disinfected, but it was not clean. Floors were dirty and there were many spiders and crickets. The pans hanging on the kitchen wall had cobwebs inside them along with webs elsewhere in the unit. Bathroom walls were loose and should be redone. The electrical wiring needs updating esp where there are loose wires. We felt bunk beds were not safe for children due to lacking rails and close proximity to wiring. Be prepared to drive over the grass to get to your unit. Otherwise, the view of the lake was beautiful from inside and out.
Loved the location, the quietness and the wildlife
We enjoyed our stay. This is the 5th time staying here.
it was totally unsafe to go to the bathroom all night!!!!! people pay 4 a cleaner,i am one,no cleaner has been there in 50 years; beddid in one bed in living room looked like it was from 1875 deadwood or tombstone!!!! view was beautiful but noy woth the risk!!!!!!! mark
My husband and I just stayed the weekend for an anniversary getaway. The little cottage was just what we needed and the view was phenomenal. We loved reading the history and memories this place holds and made us appreciate this little piece of property that much more. The view again was amazing. We enjoyed our coffee outside and just appreciated the peacefulness. We would definitely love to return. Thank you!
very unsafe and dirty...the bathroom is disgusting
