Oceanfront, Hot Tub Oceanside, 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Large Deck

Amazing time for us! Never stayed at a beach front property before and the views were lovely every morning. The house was great and everything was so close to drive to we had so many options.

She answered all my questions quickly and was very friendly!

We have been going to OBX for the last 35 years and this house was by far the cleanest house we have ever stayed at. It's the perfect spot for a family of 4. I cant recommend the place enough!

Overall the house was good. The host was very responsive and nice. I stayed here with just my husband for my birthday and it was plenty big for us. It could easily fit a few couples or a small family. I don’t agree with the description of the property having unobstructed views of the ocean. While you could see the ocean, the dunes were much bigger than they are in the property photos. You cannot see the shore anymore and the deck off to the side has dunes all the surrounding it now. Maybe that is for storm protection but it would’ve been appreciated if the picture was more accurate. We were looking for a house that was not blocked by sand dunes which is why we picked this house. It also was disappointing that the sliding glass door did not open at all that was in the common area of the house (dining room, living room & kitchen are open concept). I messaged the host to ask about if it could open and understand the reason being because other guests have left it open with heating/ac on and salt wear on the house but again one of the main reasons I picked this house and why we paid ocean front prices. So I could hear the ocean while doing things inside or outside of the house. Otherwise the house was great. The kitchen was well organized and very well stocked.

Only thought was that the steps up to the place had no landing platform, making is awkward to bring luggage etc in

Pro- 1. Right on beach!2. Hot tube is a plus. 3. Bedrooms, kitchen and living room were comfortable. 4. Affordable. 5. Easy check in/check out. Cons: 1. The advertised a certain prize and later came back and asked for more money. That felt a little yucky. 2. We worked hard to clean the place when we left and they charged us an extra 200 which felt extreme and yucky.

Wonderful house, steps from the ocean! The amenities and the home itself exceeded all our expectations!

This house exceeded our expectations! We were so close to the beach, it was easy to just run up the dune to grab something if we had forgotten it! There were so many toys, extra beach chairs and an umbrella there. We had Farmdogs come set up chairs and umbrellas each day and that was amazing! The host (Anita) was amazing at responding to our inquiries. The open living/dining room/ kitchen areas were just right sized for our group We had 6 adults and 2 kids with us during our stay. Our age group was 3-66.The hot tub and deck were nice to just sit and relax also the swing under the front of the house was nice if it was rainy!We absolutely enjoyed each mornings sunrise!The beach has a nice gradual slope in front and we had fun in the surf and building sandcastles! We saw dolphins, skates and watched osprey swim off with their catch! We even had dolphins and skates nearby while we were in the ocean!We loved the centralized location of Kitty Hawk, it was a short drive to Manteo and Roanoke, also over to Corolla! We would 10/10 rebook during this time of year with this sized group!!

This Vrbo has excellent beds and pillows. It is very clean. The kitchen is exceptionally clean and well equipped.The outdoor stairs leading to the front door are steep and wouldn’t be safe for elderly guests especially when carrying suitcases and other supplies. We were disappointed that the windows toward the ocean don’t open so we could not hear the waves from indoors. The window screens were the only thing not well maintained.

Great place! Location was central to everything. Amazing sunrises. Saw a school of dolphins playing in the water. Hot tub was great to relax in. Kitchen was spacious, open living area and beds were comfortable. A few grocery stores down the street to shop at for anything you didn’t bring.

We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations here. Anita was great! Our stay was relaxing and we definitely would love to stay sometime again! Thank you Anita!

The cottage is very nice in a great location, convenient to food and Outer Banks attractions. Guests deal directly with Anita (the owner), and she is great. Would stay here again!

Clean and on beach

What a joy to stay in such a clean and well appointed home

Check-in was easy. The house was perfect for our family of 5. We have 3 kids under the age of 6 including an 8 month old. All the rooms were on the main level, which was perfect for us. The heat and humidity have been brutal this summer and the A/C was excellent. The house has beach chairs and toys for the kids, but we splurged and paid for Farm Dogs to set up/take down our canopy and beach beach chairs for the week. They refunded 2 days where the winds (and surf) were dangerous due to Tropical Storm Debby. The walk from the house to the beach is super close (like 20-30 yards max) and the beach was great. Not too crowded either. We were 10-15 mins from a great (and inclusive) playground as well as restaurants, shops, etc. They have a great aquarium about 30 mins driving for beach break/bad westher days. The surrounding area was quiet and we could hear the ocean each night. The hot tub was amazing and helped us recuperate each night. Anita was super responsive and we truly enjoyed our stay. Anita provides all the amenities for cooking/meal prep etc. As stated earlier, this house and location were perfect for our family of 5! excellent

Wonderful location, lovely accommodation, comfortable atmosphere So relaxing

We just stayed at this lovely property with three older, adult couples. The house is great and was very clean. The kitchen is equipped with anything you would need. The quality of everything was very nice, not mismatched basic supplies you often get in a rental. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate as we expected but managed to get in some beach time. The owner, Anita was extremely responsive to the questions we had. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable! This is a lovely spot for a group of friendS or family. The two bathrooms and additional outdoor shower were a plus!

The house is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beach is peaceful and not overcrowded and the house is on a great location.

We had an amazing stay at Gracie Bell’s Sea Shell. This is the last summer that MY Gracie will be vacationing with us before college, so it was very special. The property was beautiful. The owners were beyond helpful. And even when we had a mishap on OUR end, they were more than gracious and understanding. I recommend them and this beautiful beachside home to anyone!
