Ocean Breeze House - Sleeps 8 - ESCAPE THE COLD; OUR POOL IS HEATED!

Was a great stay for my family of four. Loved the pool and the pool table. Place was nicely decorated and easy to get to Key West, Bohia Honda and Sombrero Beach. The hosts were super nice and even got us a coconut out of the tree there! The property is nice and private with pretty surroundings. I would rather stay in an older residence like this one than a newer condo any day. It felt like being a resident. Tonios restaraunt is right down the street and had good food and live entertainment. You can fish off the nearby bridges. We will be back one day, I hope!!

Cozy home close enough to key west to drive but far enough away to not be crowded.

Fit our family of 5 very comfortably. Just enough kitchenware to cook a couple meals. Enjoyed the game room/pool table. Pool was a nice touch but a bit to warm. Other than it not being waterfront was great for our trip. 1/2 hr to key west. 15 minutes to bahia honda park

The house was the perfect size for our family of five (4 adults and a 7 year old) and was larger than what we expected from the photos. The property is so cozy with a huge yard and walking area. The property has a couple other cottages on it but there is plenty of space in between for privacy and doesn’t feel crowded at all. We spent a lot of time in the pool. The grills were perfect for dinner in after eating out all day. The location couldn't be more perfect, it’s secluded, yet located only 40 minutes to Key West for easy day trips. The host welcomed us and provided the perfect recommendations for dining out and things to do. We were able to walk to Tonios for dinner, drinks and love music. We are already planning a return trip for next summer!

Great private location

The Ocean Breeze Cottage is one of 5 cottages in the Hidden Hammock Resort. It is about 40 minutes from the heart of Key West and about 2.5 hours away from Key Largo. This was a good spot for us because most of the things we did were in Key West. Check in was a little difficult because we arrived after 10pm and the light by the door to the cottage was not working. I had to walk up to each door and look for the “Ocean Breeze” sign with my flashlight. Other than that, the cottage had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 13 and 10). It had all the ammenities to make our stay comfortable. There are small sized toiletries to get you started, not enough for a whole week. There is shared washer/dryer behind the cottages by the pool with laundry pods under the kitchen sink, which we were very grateful for. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were very spacious. We appreciated that there were plenty of dressers to unpack all our things into. Favorite ammenity: Heated pool! Things to improve: There were quite a few cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling in the room with one bed so we had to take care of some spiders. The blue bathroom had regular visits from carpenter ants. The floors in the entire unit could use a good wet mopping…Our feet were black at the end of each day.

Fantastic hidden gem in Summerland Key. A perfect location for us close to family who live nearby. Ocean Breeze contains everything you need for a getaway - comfy beds, a fully stocked kitchen, entertainment and plenty of space!

We stayed here with one other couple. Nice, modestly updated property, comfy bed (we had the bedroom with two queens), great billiard room and screen porch. Sipped coffee on screen porch and watched sky turn pink. While there, they helped us line up a great charter boat to sandbars, promptly fixed a minor plumbing issue, and were appropriately attentive. We only cooked breakfast in the kitchen and it was moderately equipped and fine for our purposes. Pool and amenity. Definitely recommend!

Spacious and we generally enjoyed the stay, however we had numerous problems. Failing AC unit in MB, no AC 2 nights of the stay. Shower leak, flooding 2nd bedroom, with water coming up through the cracks in the vinyl flooring, they attempted to repair but still leaked, shower out of commission for the rest of our visit. Major electrical issue resulting in no hot water, no stove, limited lighting, and few functioning outlets, for 1.5 days. Property manager, maintenance guy and an electrician in and out of our rental many many times over 2 days. We requested a refund of 1 night for all the inconvience but the property manager only would refund a partial night.

This place is very quiet and upkept well. Hope, our manager, was awesome and close by for questions. The location is perfectly placed between Marathon and Key West. We'll definitely be returning in the future!

This is an older property that has been updated. The furnishings and appliances are really nice and beachy. We had input with all 3 of the hosts and they really were spot on with information. It's a beautiful property close to all the Keys has to offer. Thanks, Glen, Trina and Hope.

The property was clean and nicely decorated. It was centrally located to all of the lower keys. We enjoyed our stay and all of the suggestions and ideas that Hope, the property manager, offered. Definitely family friendly!

It was a wonderful stay. Love having two rooms and my girls having their own beds. There is an inaccuracy on the listing that it is two beds in one room and 1 bed in the other room. Love the beach chairs and the umbrella that we can take to the beach to use. Love the pool table and pool. The pool is pretty deep at one end w/o depth marking. It would be over 6 ft because my husband, 5'9, can't touch the pool floor on the depth end. Location is great that you can go more south or north for more to do w/n 30 mins. But there are a plenty to do w/n 15 mins of drive, for beach, kayak and snorkeling.

Property is located convenient to our Family that lives near the area. The best part of this location is the Pool table which the whole family enjoyed. The Pool was also very entertaining and a great asset. The beach towels were an added plus. Things to improve Kitchen needs more frying pans also there were some insects that need addressing. Florida is known for silverfish and water bugs. This property needs TLC.
