Everything was perfect, the house, the neighborhood and the town, we loved it all. There is lots of things to do I really recommend it.
Amazing week
This is a beautiful cottage in a great location! You are within a short drive to so many hot spots and you can also walk to the end of the road and watch the boats go by.
This home was perfect for an impromptu trip to the Grand Haven area. The owner was available to answer questions quickly and we even got to meet him. The kids love seeing the bunnies, birds and black squirrels. Close to a small public access for kayaking, swimming, jet skis.
Great cottage rental. So,so quite. Easy to get to grand haven and beaches but we found some great restaurants in spring lake. Thumbs up!
Tom does not miss a beat in his property. The house was nicely renovated, very nice area, nice people and water was very close.
A charming cottage within walking distance to Spring Lake. Close to many bike paths, and a short drive to North Shore beach on Lake Michigan. Light and airy with loads of linens and towels, and comfortable beds. A perfect location for a family that just wants to chill out, although Grand Haven and all of its attractions ( including the beautiful Grand Haven beach )is just a short drive away. Highly recommended.
Very nice place -- it looked exactly like the pictures. Access to Spring Lake is good if you have a water craft. My kids preferred a sand beach; there are several nearby but not in easy walking distance. We aren't the sort to return to the same city season after season, but if I did come back to Spring Lake / Grand Haven I would definitely stay at this cottage again. The place was stocked with everything you could need. Well done.
My family of 4, plus my parents, spent a week at this charming cottage. It was very relaxing and quiet due to its location in a neighborhood. We appreciated that the owner, Tom, stocked the cottage with everything needed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We brought our bikes and enjoyed paved bike trails, accessible at the end of the block. Make sure you bike around the lake (about an 11 mile scenic ride). We especially enjoyed walking the one block down to Spring Lake for daily and nightly strolls. Due to high water levels, our kids did not swim there; instead we enjoyed swimming in Lake Michigan. Go to Grand Haven State Park for the great beach. We had a wonderful time!
This cottage is in a great location! It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Haven and a 20 minute drive to Holland or Muskegon. There is a variety of things to do from shopping to hanging at the beach. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. Tom was in the area and came by to make sure everything was going good. It is always nice to put a name with a face:). We will definitely be back!
