Lovely comfortable cottage with good fixtures and fittings. Lots of individual and quirky touches. Owners very welcoming and solicitous. Good location for the town centre and river walks. We really enjoyed our stay in this part of Suffolk.

The property was very quaint with lots of original features. It was comfortable and warm and spotlessly clean. Very friendly hosts and a small welcome pack on arrival. It is in a good location with close access to public transport if you want to leave the car behind. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Quaint, very cleverly furnished to suit the age and original purpose of the property, loved its quirkiness. Blessing was the en suite upstairs as you did not have to negotiate the stairs in the night.

Sue was lovely and give good advice on the area. The accommodation was perfect and a good size for a one bedroom. The house was fitted out with antiquities giving the house a warm character. All comforts and needs were catered for. Would definitely recommend

Cosy character cottage, furnished in traditional style, suiting the property. Spotlessly clean and everything you could need provided, including a welcome gift of tea, coffee and biscuits. Plenty to see and do in Beccles, many restaurants and pubs for wining and dining. Hosts, Sue and Chris, are friendly and helpful and always on hand if needed. They are full of local knowledge and can suggest things to do. An excellent retreat for a relaxing break.

Good base for cycling - there was a covered area for storage of bikes. Central location and handy for restaurants and shops. Easy to walk from cottage to areas in the Broads Park. Although on a busy road, traffic noise was not a problem at nights, though it was cold, so windows were shut!
