Stayed Oct 17, 2025The property appeared clean until my wife turned down the bed. What appeared to be droppings were all over the sheets. We called the rental agency immediately. They then contacted a local maintenance guy that was supposed to have done something. This person texted me a while later, apologized and said they would bring mousetraps out in the morning. My wife and I slept on the couch.Upon closer inspection the droppings appeared to be some kind of seed. Regardless, the bedding was clearly not changed from the previous guest,there was no effort to clean the mess, no laundry on site, no spare sheets and no effort to resolve the complaint. I had put off writing a review in hopes that someone would contact me with an offer of a discounted rate or at least an apology. Sadly that didnt happen.

Stayed Sep 4, 2025Nice spot at the end of the road. Quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host was very responsive. The people before us left coffee grounds in the maker which got moldy - kinda gross, but not the end of the world.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Great location, close to sister bay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and a firepit close to the water. The house isnt super fancy but it was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds and cozy indoor and outdoor seating.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024Stay was wonderful really enjoyed the sunrise. Cabin was nice and clean and very quiet and peaceful. Could see the big dipper as big as can be right outside the picture windows. We would definitely come back.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We recently stayed at the Waters End Cottage in Sister Bay and were very disappointed. Upon first entry, we found dirty linens and towels from the previous tenants, unvacuumed floors, broken blind in the living room. A phone call got someone to pick up the laundry, but at bedtime we were then short bedding for the sofa bed. The location was described as rural, but it was not tranquil. There was a steady stream of foot and vehicle traffic to the private pier. The area leading to the fire pit and swing (which were in poor condition) was not recently mowed. We felt it was way overpriced for what we got, and would not repeat this experience.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Cute house right on Lake Michigan with porch and and fire pit. Very private and quiet area but within a few miles to some stores/restaurants and only 20 minutes from Bailey's Harbor and 25 minutes to Peninsula State Park. We enjoyed our stay.
