Newly renovated steps from the Sea Hamlet Oasis 4 Great outdoor living space too

This is the second time I have stayed at Jason & Jackie’s place @ Hamlet Oasis. They are excellent hosts, communicate very well, and the layout/utility of their unit is fantastic and has everything you need onsite. Highly recommend!

My wife & I spent a glorious 6 days at the Mermaid Oasis and it wasn't enough. Jackie is a terrific, accommodating host and clearly loves sharing their home so that others can experience and fall in love with Bonaire just as they did. The Mermaid Oasis is not just another rental property. The Grays have included every amenity needed to enjoy your stay; and they've maintained the Mermaid Oasis theme down to the finest detail. The renovation is just gorgeous. It's so nice that you almost hate to go out to explore the island. The location is perfect. Very convenient for enjoying town, yet enough separation to avoid the cruise ship crowd if you prefer serenity.When Jackie heard this was our first time on Bonaire, she said, You'll be back! She's right, we WILL be back. And it has a lot to do with the Mermaid Oasis and Jackie's hospitality.We'll definitely be back and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and had a nice porch for morning coffee and another for an afternoon tea or beer. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies including spices and sauces. The laundry worked great. It was wonderful to take a short walk to the ocean every evening and watch the sun go down. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend staying at this place.

Jackie and Jason were incredible hosts and the cottage was wonderful. Great outdoor porch and backyard with grill. We had everything we needed! We like to cook and every possible item we needed was there including spices, cooking oil, and all the soaps and supplies needed to maintain things. Everything was amazingly organized and labeled with instructions and a full cottage guide. Jackie was so responsive answering all our questions and addressing any issues immediately. The location was fantastic with great snorkeling right out front and a mile walk to town. Good restaurants close by. We loved Bonaire. Were there to snorkel and Jackie provided an unbelievably detailed snorkel guide for the whole island! Loved Bonaire. Such a cute town with nice shops and restaurants and great people. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Jackie and Jason’s cottage!

Very nice place. Clean and well organized amenities. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time on Bonaire. Communication with the host was clear and easy.

We stayed in Mermaid Oasis for 10 days and loved it! This was our 6th visit to Bonaire, and the Mermaid was the most comfortable and well stocked cottage that we have stayed in. Home: Everything was clean and in working order. The cottage had recently been renovated and was beautiful! The kitchen had everything that we needed, and more, for cooking meals and making drinks. It even had an air fryer that was perfect for re-crisping fries. The beds were very comfortable. Books and games: A great selection of both including identification books that we used after our dives. WiFi: Speed was great! My kids were taking online summer classes and had no trouble doing all that they needed to do. Television with Roku streamed quickly for watching movies at night.Location: Perfect location near Dive Friends (Cliff) and Captain Don’s, just a few miles north of Kralendijk and a short walk to the sea. We dove and snorkeled the local reef and saw a lot of life! We watched the sun set every night near the walkway to the shore or while sipping drinks at Rum Runners (just a few houses down). Resort Area: The Hamlet Oasis resort is landscaped with palm trees and flowering shrubs. We enjoyed watching birds during the day and walking the paths at night to look for crabs and lizards. The pool is nice and offers some shade with surrounding trees.Communication: Jackie is great! Only one issue with grill not working and she had it fixed by the next evening!We will definitely be back!
