This is a wonderful get-away cottage, well off the beaten Dingle tourist track and away from the crowds, yet convenient enough to anything you want to do on the peninsula, assuming you have a car. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the little village of Ballyferriter had several acceptable pubs and restaurants so we didn't have to drive all the way back into Dingle is we didn't want to cook in the cottage. The furnishings were all above average in quality and condition. Wifi worked well. Never used cable tv so can't comment about that. Would definitely rent the place again if we were making another trip to the area in the near future.

The cottage was wonderful and Mr. Doherty's suggestions for local pubs were spot on. The Dingle peninsula is a fantastic locale, even in the rainy weather we had! We are looking forward to our return trip.

We stayed at Kevins cottage for a week at first week of August and enjoyed it very much. This was our first stay in Ireland. The abidance was really great, the countryside is phantastic – Dingle Peninsula is in our opinion one of the most beautiful areas! And the Irish people are so friendly. We enjoyed the use of the well equipped kitchen. We slept well in the comfortable beds and had a marvelous time traveling around the Dingle Peninsula. The house is new and well kept. A very comfortable home with everything you'll need. We shopped many days in the food market in Dingle and enjoyed cooking at home. This is a beautiful oceanfront home with great views that is just steps away from the sea, nice to walk through fields of sheep and dramatic breath-taking scenery. The location is ideal for visiting the Dingle peninsula and for day trips further afield. Dingle town was a short 15 minute ride away and there were much nice restaurants and pubs. Everything was very uncomplicated thanks to Kevin - he managed all perfectly and gave us so many tips in his e-mails before. He also arrenged for us a law priced greenfee rate on the golf course, which is in front of the house. We look forward to returning and exploring more!
