Nestled Above Seneca Lake in the Heart of Wine Country With Private Beach

Great location right on Seneca lake. House was comfortable for both hanging out and sleeping.

The Cliff House was the perfect fall getaway. The view of the lake was spectacular.

We loved the location. The perfect vacation place on Seneca Lake and close to everything! And the home was perfect for 2 couples to relax and enjoy time together in a beautiful setting.

I loved the property, especially that it was right on Seneca Lake. It was close to the event we were going to which made it even better!

My wife and I were join by another couple for a week at lake Seneca and we really enjoyed our stay here. The location was ideal for us as there were quite a few good wineries close by. The house was on the lake with great views from the deck. The owner Elisabeth was staying next door and she stopped by shortly after we checked in to see how we were doing and to see if we needed anything and had quite a few recommendations for us wrt wineries, restaurants, and golf. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved it! The stairs to the lake was a bit challenging getting the kayaks down/up, but not too horrible. We’re getting ….. We enjoyed the fire pit at the beach and beautiful sunsets. Nice and close to wineries, distilleries, breweries, Watkins Glen and Gorge Trail that were really enjoyed. Beautiful views from the house and the home was nice with many provided amenities that was greatly appreciated. Hosts were very nice. We would visit again!

Spectacular views with dock and lakefront space. Our family enjoyed kayaking, dock and firepit. Home was clean and owners seemed to have covered all the details. Very accomodating. There is a walk down a bunch of steps to lake to keep in mind. But soooo worth it! Great experience.

My family and I stayed here for my sister’s graduation weekend and it was fantastic. Even though it was a 45 minute drive from Ithaca, we were always excited to return and relax at the cottage. Check in was a breeze. The house was immaculately clean and ready for us to unpack. The rooms were a good size and having two bathrooms was perfect for a group of 6. It felt like a real home with everything needed to feel comfortable, cook, and just relax. The real gem was the beautiful view of the lake from the living room and patio as well as from the dock. We took advantage of trying to canoe for the first time and everything was there to kayak or canoe with three kayaks and a four-person canoe available with paddles and life jackets. We also had a bonfire with the provided firewood. It was unexpectedly cold for the time of year, but there was plenty of heaters to heat the house up quickly. Overall, a great place to spend quality time with a group and we would come back in a heartbeat!

We came to relax and that’s exactly what we did. It was the perfect location to just sit by the water and unwind. Thank you so much for sharing your adorable cottage with us. We hope to use this cottage again.

Cozy cottage overlooking Seneca Lake. Had everything we need in good location. Overall though a little pricy for late October but since splitting cost with another couple was manageable.

Really enjoyed the property and the neighborhood. No complaints, only appreciation.

We spent most of a week here during a gorgeous autumn. Most of the time was spent hiking, visiting local wineries and cideries, plus a memorable trip to the Corning Museum of Glass. The hosts were friendly and available. The house was perfect for 2 couples.

It was nice to be on the water and close to wineries and restaurants since that was the reason for going!

Met friends here for a long wine and football weekend. Could not have found a better location. The view from the deck, the firepit by the lake, it was all so enjoyable! We felt so welcome from the minute we walked in. There is so much to see nearby, we are looking forward to coming back and exploring more!

Was able to communicate with the owner easily. Always a quick response. Road bringing you to the home was dirt and some spots steep. I knew this going in hence the name “The Cliff house”. Home was very welcoming. A special touch from the owner was a nice bottle of wine, along with a hand written note. The home was very cozy, plenty of seating and an electric fireplace for ambience. We all enjoyed our stay and recommend this home. Perfect location as well. We appreciate you sharing your home with us, even if it was only for two nights.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't that nice, rainy and overcast until the day we left. Sun came up the last morning and we all wanted to stay longer. But this was a great place to stay. Roomy and clean.. close to multiple wineries and the other places we visited. the other places we visited.ot us to visit.

Paul and Betsy’s cottage was the best place we e stayed in 12 yrs of coming to the FLX. Comfortable spaces, amazing dock and fire pit area and great views on the deck. Perfect location to hot spots like Lucky Hare and Scale House. Would love to stay again.

Great location and awesome amenitied

I would only stay at this rental when I return to the Finger Lakes. Everything we needed was provide and inside is perfect, but the deck, both at the top of the cliff, and also at the bottom right on the lake are worth it all! Got to see beautiful sunsets from the deck. And great location to everything in the area - wineries, shopping, dining, water sports and boating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet and relaxing. The house was clean and welcoming. The views of the lake were breathtaking - especially the sunsets. We had great weather to enjoy the kayaks and canoe that were available. We can't wait to visit again next year.

This cottage was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed the view from the deck. It was very close to the rest of our other family for our reunion.
