Nantucket Style Guest Cottage perfectly located near Juanita Beach in Kirkland!

This sweet cottage is a real throwback to how vacation rentals began. Attentive hosts, safe places, priced affordably. The bonus was the beautiful yard styled as an English garden. The kitchen was missing a few items but we were able to borrow them from the hosts. I would recommend this place 100% if you’re staying in Kirkland or visiting Seattle.

The owners were very helpful and friendly, I felt right at home. Kirkland is a quaint, beautiful town. The cottage was a great location with many things right nearby.

This was absolutely beautiful! Definitely better than a cramped hotel room. A great value!

Cute, cozy cottage! The garden is beautiful. I stayed there for a week while in the area visiting family. Plenty of towels, shampoo, and soap. There were also cleaning supplies under the sink and in the closet, so I could keep it tidy. The bed was comfortable. Full size refrigerator and freezer, stove, and microwave. Plenty of mugs, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, and dishes. Frying pans and cooking utensils, as well as aluminum foil and plastic wrap were available. I loved the stone fireplace. It is propane powered and very easy to use. It definitely warms the cottage quickly and helped keep the chill off. They also thoughtfully provided a portable radiator-type heater to use instead if the fireplace was too much. There were plenty of hangers and a full sized mirror in the closet. The only thing I would think to add would be a dresser or some empty shelves in the closet. The host is very nice. Marcy came over to introduce herself and was available for any questions, but not intrusive. I really enjoyed my stay. It is great for one or two people. I would recommend the cottage if you are looking for a nice, quiet place to relax. I will definitely return for future visits.

Marcy and Norm were wonderful hosts available for questions and help when needed. The cottage is beautiful, exceptionally comfortable, well-equipped and exactly as pictured and advertised. The landscaping associated with the cottage and main house on the property is simply lovely, with impressive tall hedges, trees, lawn, etc. We stayed a total of five nights over a ten-day period, and could not have been more pleased with our choice. We very much look forward to returning in the Spring and/or late summer.

The cottage was beautiful inside and the decor was amazing. It is on a quite street, but with easy access to the HWY. There is a great park within a mile from the location and not very far from downtown Kirkland.

Sorry to say but the place could have been cleaner. The owner had a fire in the main house and there was a lot of construction happening that we were not informed of so it was inconvenient for parking.

Hosts are super - helpful, and friendly. The cottage is well-appointed, lovely outside space to enjoy when weather permits. Very quiet, residential area. The cottage is comfortable and cute with a working propane fireplace that can warm it quickly. We'll happily stay again if available - popular place! Families should know it is one large room and bathroom, so different desired bedtimes may be challenging.

The cottage is nicely done and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here before and loved it.I met Norm while I was getting ready to drive somewhere and he was very friendly.We would stay there again if it is available. It's convenient to a lot of shopping in the Totem Lake area and close to Kirkland Village for a wide range of restaurants.

This was such a quaint little place. I loved the fireplace. I love the decor and I like the privacy. It was a great location. Easy to the freeway. Easy to shopping and the hosts were so sweet and generous! I will stay there my next visit back to Washington!

The property was so darling and landscaping was beautiful. Excellent location. Only thing to improve is a more comfortable bed. Bed is actually inadequate for the quality of the rest of the property. Woke up sore every day. Having said that, I would stay here again anyways because it was so darn cute.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage and grounds were very well cared for, clean, and welcoming. The cottage was charming and just as good as it looks in the pictures shown on VRBO. We highly recommend it!

Nice and cozy. A short walk to Juanita Beach. Centrally located for our side trips - everything was 30 minutes or less away. The grounds are beautiful and wonderful for sitting on the porch and enjoying them and the quiet. Hosts are friendly.

This spot was perfect for me. Lovely and peaceful after busy times visiting friends. Just loved the enclosed gardens. Marcy and her husband were super hospitable. It was easy to get to from SeaTac and easy to get to other destinations in the area. I’d happily return given the chance.

Lush manicured greens and a feeling of the old world meeting the new...Marcy and her husband Norm were so delightful, helpful and accommodating. The space was delightful and perfect for our weekend! Beautiful yard made our brief stay very peaceful. Check in was so easy and accommodations were very clean and welcoming.

My dad and I were in town to see Mount Rainier and a couple Mariners games, and it was the perfect place. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to freeways. The hosts also were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We returned to Marcy and Norm’s to visit our grandchildren in the area. The location of this property is handy to them, shopping, and great walking opportunities around Juanita Beach. Their property is well maintained and perfect in size.

We loved the cottage!! It was so cute! Maybe even prettier in person if that’s possible. Check in/out was a breeze. Hosts were so nice and easy to communicate with! Couldn’t say more nice things. Definitely stay here if you are looking for something in the area!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was a gem of a find. Fantastic location and plenty of places to explore near by. We had no trouble at all finding places to eat and drink. The cottage is spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable. The front porch is a beautiful place to sit, relax and take it the beautiful gardens and landscape. I wish we had planned to stay longer.

We were visiting our family in Seattle and this cottage was in the perfect location, about three miles from their home. It served our needs well. It has a well appointed kitchen, bathroom and central living space with a cape cod feel. Would stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this place. It is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and it allows for plenty of privacy. It is situated close to everything, Juanita beach, beautiful downtown Kirkland, shops, restaurants and much more! It is well appointed, one thing we missed was a washer. It would have beem nice to be able to wash our clothes. Other than that it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

We were very pleased with this VRBO - it was perfect as far as size, location, amenities, comfort and communication with the owners. We hope to be back soon!

Nice place…however, it is a “keyhole” driveway so it is a slight challenge to find after dark.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Marcy and Norm were great to work with, friendly and accessible. Norm even blew the leaves away from the brick path so it wouldn't be slippery for me. The cottage did have a queen bed so I ended up sleeping on the benches (which easily converted to a small bed). My husband got the bed. The little touches around the cottage are just wonderful. The nautical theme went throughout the place from sheets to decorations and even the plates. Adorable!!! The bathroom is small and has a walk-in shower that is a little dated but worked for us. We would stay there again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Marcy and Norm!

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and decided to treat ourselves to this lovely cottage- the gorgeous pictures depict it perfectly! It is a quick drive into Seattle, and many great cities surrounding Kirkland. Once we pulled into the cedar lined driveway, we were pleasantly surprised to see how private the location was in amongst a residential neighborhood. Marcy greeted us and made us feel welcome, along with an invitation to enjoy the park like grounds. The guest house is charming, comfortable and beautifully decorated in a seaside theme, and supplied with everything we could have needed. We were so busy sightseeing in Seattle, we didn’t get the fully enjoy the cottage like we should have, so book a few extra days just to relax here!

We will be back for another stay.
