We are located above Dolores, Colorado lucky us we have a view of mountains ranges, we live on 75 some acres you can roam on, walk out to the edge of the rim and see the whole town of Dolores. Take advantage of taking a picture of the whole Mesa Verde mountain. Bring your family, kids, friends, There is so much to do in a small amount of time. Don't worry there is always time for biking, hiking, fishing, sight seeing, star gazing, hunting and a nice outdoor fire to end the evening with. You

Stayed Sep 21, 2025Quiet and peaceful location, yet close enough to Delores (2.5 Mi). Great and timely communication with Jason, the property owner/manager. The cottage was clean and beds comfortable. Two minor items to note: low water pressure and no real dining table but definitely not deal breakers.

Stayed May 24, 2024Quiet location with great views and everything needed for a stay including a kitchen. It feels remote but you are just a few minutes from town or bike riding and hiking trails.

Stayed May 21, 2024Secluded location but close to Dolores. Contrary to previous reviews, the heater is a ventless unit so there should be no safety concerns. We used it with no issue. Accommodations are extremely fair for the rate charged. We would stay again.

Stayed May 13, 2024Not maintained at all. BBQ grill was rusted shut and look like something pick up off the side of the road. No Air conditioning. Fan in living room was melted fan blades from the heat. Like when you use indoor fan outside. It does not move air. The heater is gas and not properly vented to outside.( not vented at all so fumes went to inside home) water heater not properly vented either. We were under the impression on home on the 75 acres. Nope home on 1 side and rented rv on the other side no privacy. Yard was not maintained at all. Very disappointed after driving for 1500 hours

Stayed Oct 12, 2023This VRBO is located close to Dolores, CO and the San Juan National Forrest. My friend and I drew 1st rifle bull elk licenses. We did not have much luck finding elk. We are no longer able to traverse rough terrian because of physical limitations. We still enjoyed getting away and seeing different countty.
