Mid-century Modest Cottage at Pierpont Beach

The host met us at the door to welcome us. She had the many windows and large french doors open to let fresh air and sunshine into the cottage. It was clean and comfortable. This is the first time we have stayed away from home since the start of the pandemic and we felt relaxed and safe in the Coral Cottage.

This beach cottage was perfect for the 3 of us traveling. There was a lot more space than many of the other rental listed in the area. There are so many different seating areas inside and out. A group can stay and have some space or it can be cozy and romantic for two. Everything was as advertised and there was plenty of everything needed. The beds were very comfortable and it was a very close walk to beach, sunset and plenty of dining options. Thank you Donna!

Donna’s house was the perfect basecamp for our exploration of Ventura and Channel Islands National Park. We were comfortable with 3 adults sharing the space. Donna was very available and helpful in resolving a minor issue we had with wifi. The location is very convenient. We didn’t go to the beach ( not great beach weather) but really enjoyed the Seabee Museum and trip to Santa Cruz Island.

Yes, place was very comfortable clean and stocked with anything that we would need. Our hostess was a good communicator left clear instructions as to how to enter the house. If we had questions, she was quite responsive and friendly. The house was a five minute walk from the beach and located in a beautiful neighborhood.

Nice house within a short walk to the beach, a grocery store, and restaurants. It was just my wife and I but it could have easily slept 6 in the two bedrooms. Host was excellent and very responsive. Check in and check out were easy. Would stay here again.

Well appointed cottage that is a short walk to the beach. Surprisingly well stocked kitchen with amazing coffee and tea supplies, including multiple types of coffee and teas.

The house has everything you need, it’s comfortable and the location is ideal. So close to the beach and restaurants.

We had a great time visiting for the holidays. The cottage was in a great location, had everything we needed to do some cooking, and we really appreciated that it was decorated.

You want fancy, go find a Four Seasons.Want to have a fantastic vacation, then look no further.This place has everything one wants for a beach vacation: games, patios (yes plural), bbq, kitchen with all possibilities, living room for games and watching DVD’s (remember those?), walk 5 minutes to the beach for great long walks, lovely neighbors, 7 minutes to downtown Ventura’s Main St for shops and eats.I could go on and on.Enjoy, I know we will be back.Baltimore

Stocked well with all the beach essentials.

Donna was great and the Cottage worked well for us! Close to the Beach and the Kitchen had a very good supply of things needed! The Cottage is quirky……Hot water wasn’t fast in coming in but overall was ok!It overall was good……..

Fun beach cottage.

This was a very cozy and wonderful beach cottage that is within walking distance of the beach and good food. The host is very responsive to any questions you might have.

Cool little beach house in a great location

The beach cottage is adorable. Built in the 50s it has so much charm. The front and back yard of cottage was so relaxing and quiet. Our little dog loved the relaxing also. The little gardens are beautiful.The beds were clean with nice sheets and pillows! It had everything needed for a comfy stay.The owner Donna is a kind lady, she met us there to go over details and let us in.Walking to eat and to the beautiful beach was a couple blocks. Ventura is a beautiful place.

We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.

Lots of room in this 2 bedroom house. Has everything you will need for your stay. Just a short walk to the beach. Host is always available. Highly recommend this rental.

The host has thought of everything!!! I appreciated the communication but most of all it was the little things that make a difference. There is a basket of chargers, coffee and tea, and tons of other little things that just make you feel at home. It was an easy process and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! Everything is within walking distance - the beach, Starbucks, even sushi!!! We had a great time her!

Donna’s place is perfect! I highly recommend her beach bungalow if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ventura. We stayed for 9 days with our dog. The place was only a few blocks to the beach, we enjoyed sunrise and sunset walks everyday with our pup. Donna’s house is stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The house is clean and spacious. The front and back yard and completely fenced in, it was perfect for our dog to hangout and relax. We visited nearby Rincon Beach, Carpenteria, and Santa Barbara. Donna’s place is the perfect distance to all of these locations. Downtown Ventura is only a few mins away, amazing shopping and restaurants. Donna was very communicative the entire time and answered all of our questions whenever we needed it. We are looking forward to staying here again next summer!

100% cotton sheets - yes! One block to the beach - yes! All kinds of items you would need to take to the beach - yes! Beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, wagon, boogie boards, buckets, umbrella, and MORE ! The host has stocked just about everything you can think of and then some. Quiet area, but close to the Marina Park and the Ventura Pier. Easy to get to, right off the of 101 Freeway. Lots of shopping, gas stations, and restaurants nearby. This was our first experience with vacation rentals and we are already planning another trip! Even our dog enjoyed this trip, host is dog friendly. This cottage can easily sleep 6, possibly more. Everything was tidy. This cozy, mid-century cottage made our stay amazing! Backyard completely fenced in for pet and child safety. Host aims to please. Highly recommend!
