It is a little dated now the 1 bathroom requires updating it feels tired due to no open plan which holiday makers like and gives space, get position parking for 2 small garden but beach on doorstep

We’ve booked with AHL before so know the high standards of the properties they manage-this was no exception. The property was very clean and well maintained, with a bag of welcome goodies! The property itself is in an excellent location, with access to the beach at the bottom of the road. Although on-street parking was busy, the drive is long enough for two cars. The house was a little dated but well maintained and clean. There was a great selection of games to play, too, and a smart TV. There is a fire for colder nights, but instructions on how to light and where to purchase logs would definitely be helpful! Beds were comfy and the rooms were quiet, despite the property’s central location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Marimar and will definitely be coming back.

This was our second stay at Marimar, after an injury forced us to cut short our first trip. Firstly, what an absolutely fantastic location, so close to the sea and the views from the front window are wonderful. It was very windy when we arrived, so the waves were spectacular and we loved watching the wind surfers, who were there most days. Marimar is well equipped with every appliance you could wish for, the bedrooms are comfortable and the garden was perfectly adequate for our dogs. The kitchen is roomy with a dishwasher and washing machine, separate freezer and microwave. In the bathroom the shower is over the bath, and I would have liked a handle or anti slip mat in the bath as I am quite short and it was a bit difficult to get in and out. There is a very large table in the front room, a great size if visiting with a large group, but we found it took up a lot of space and the chairs don't fit properly underneath making it a bit of a squeeze to get passed. There are areas that are a bit tired, so it could do with a spruce up. There is a shop, chip shop, pizza takeaway and various other shops within walking distance, and a great bar/restaurant just 10 minutes away called Oyster Catcher, right on the dunes so perfect for walking the dogs and then stopping for something to eat, or just a pint. We had a great holiday, and it is somewhere we would certainly consider go to again.

This is our 4th time staying, love the location, short walk to the beach, shops etc and the neighbours are very friendly. We’ve booked again for next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at Marimar. The house was very clean and more spacious than we anticipated. Comfortable seats and bed. Stunning sea views and so close to the beach. Our little dog didn't want to leave and neither did we.

We have stayed at Marimar previously due to its proximity to the sea. It is a great little bungalow but it is in need of some TLC. Negatives: Skirting boards and fridges are chipped, generally looked tired and you still have to fight with the curtains in the lounge to close them. Whilst it's lovely to have nice serving dishes, it would be great to have some oven trays, tongs etc so a proper meal can be cooked and some unchipped plates would be great!! As others have mentioned, the chairs are too big for the dining table so we moved some out of the lounge while we were there, so we could move around the table. (It would be great to have a long floor mat in the hall way too to stop the floor getting wet whilst taking coats off). Positives: You can see the sea from the lounge so even if the weather is awful, you can still watch the kite surfers! It was warm and clean. A log fire with firewood, firelighters and matches supplied was a lovely bonus. The garden has had a trim so looks much bigger than when we last visited and is secure for pets. Great location for all the bars and restaurants.

No better location for us - perfect beach access when taking dogs in warmer weather. Bed relatively comfortable My personal preference is less bushes in the garden as the dogs kept trying to disappear in them all the time and outside light perhaps a good idea in darker the evenings but on the whole we had a great stay here and enjoyed it.

A lovely property which facilitated a great couple of weeks in the lovely village of Rhosneigr. Sadly the weather did not match everything else.

Marimar is located close to the beach, is spacious having 3 bedrooms, decent size lounge and kitchen which is fully equipped with the exception of a Tumble Dryer, although there is a nice enclosed and private garden with a line and pegs. Garden furniture is provided also. Drive for parking is invaluable as it can get very congested on the road. A nice place to stay.

The location near the beach couldn't have been better. The property was very clean..however, it is very tired. It really needs refurbishing to bring it to the standard expected of the price. The twin room smells of damp. The built in wardrobes smell of age. We were sadly disappointed. We've had much better in the local area.

The house is comfortable and well-furnished and the quality of bedding and towels is excellent. Its location close to the beach is wonderful. I was a little disappointed to find the curtains in one bedroom hanging off the rails and felt it should have been remedied before I arrived. I also felt it would have been better to have matching crockery rather than a pile of mis-matched plates. It is a pity that there is no picture of the garden on the website as the garden is a lovely place to relax.

We had a fabulous stay at Marimar. The location was brilliant (approx. 100 yards from the beach) and the property was extremely clean. We will definately be staying there again.
