Mareverde.Gorgeous beachfront cottage with pool and very close to the sea access

My husband & I had the most wonderful time in this very pretty authentic accommodation. Such a romantic setting with stunning views & very peaceful. The accommodation as basic as it is had everything we required & needed, the outdoor shower was just brilliant. Livia, the host’s daughter, was most helpful with supplying us with all the local information & her tips for eating out etc..Bruno & Livia were lovely & incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend this little rustic gem!

I arrived by myself, which was something of an adventure getting there from the Naples airport, but well worth the distance and drive! As I was driving to the house with the sea on my left, it was such a beautiful and calming experience, and I knew it was going to be a great stay. The house was lovely and just the perfect size for me and my friend who eventually joined me a few days later. The pool was a welcome treat after a long day of beaches and sight seeing every day. The manager was also kind enough to give us an extensive list of must see places in the area, and I thing we hit them all! Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again!

A fantastic quiet location.

We spent a happy week in one of the Franchina cottages. The view from our patio was breathtaking, blue skies and a perfect view of the Adriatic. Glorious sunshine every day with a pool to dip into when we needed to cool down. Swimming in he sea, a few minutes from our cottage, was fabulous too although too rough some days to make this possible. The cottage itself has all the basics for simple cooking and a second shower outside provides a lovely warm experience and great views of the sea Bruno, the host was very helpful from the time we booked until the day we left. He was quick to respond to our messages and requests. He was very willing to provide information about places to swim, eat and visit in the area. We loved every minute of our stay.

A view that just relaxed you, and everything you needed in a small home. Isolated, which suited us, with rugged cliff top walks. Clear water, nice snorkelling. Bruno, the owner, could not have been nicer or more helpful.

When we read the description of this property we thought it woud be ideal for our plans - a quiet place without the distractions of the modern world. The setting of the cottage met these requirements - a view of the sea with no filters except a few ancient olive trees. Our host Bruno was always available in an elegant and understated manner , providing assistance and invaluable information about restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for a place which allows for relaxing the soul , this is it.

Bruno and Livia are just wonderful hosts. The translation of the german description of the place in Corsano was unfortunately not quite correct but Bruno found immeditatly a solution for the problem and us. The place itself is peaceful, clean and surrounded by nature. Thanks to you two again for everything!

Quiet, sensational view, a Hollywood swing, a big terrace with a dining table, a barbecue - staying here for 6 weeks with Bruno being a wonderful host have been a perfect vacation. Highly, highly recommendable! Thank you, Bruno. Pretty sure we come back.

We really enjoyed this special place, where you can relax as there is no noice,you have a great view and a lot of nice villages are very close.

We had a wonderful stay at Franchina during mid-October. The location is beautiful and tranquil, a slice of paradise. From the terrace there are views straight over the sea, perfect for catching the sunrise, and on clear nights a great view of the stars. Swimming is a few minutes away if you fancy some snorkelling, a few minutes drive to Marina Serra, and the beautiful sandy beaches of Pescoluse and Baia dei Turchi easily accessible within an hour. It's also easy to reach Gallipoli and Lecce for taking in the myriad of beautiful churches and duomos. As we were out of season we made use of the excellent cooking facilities in the evening, including the outdoor grill. Livia directed us to the supermarket in nearby Tiggiano which has well stocked fresh fish and meat counters. The cottage is charming and has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Bruno and Livia are friendly and helpful hosts, a fantastic introduction for our first trip to Puglia, I hope we'll be back!
