This was a great cabin, it was super nice on the inside and beautiful views outside. The drive up the mountain is very steep but almost entirely paved, which makes it easier. It's still a pretty intimidating drive, 2 miles at a 45 or more angle. The internet worked great. It is very close to everything, the grocery store lowes is nearby which I highly recommend, and mountain dog coffee is close by which was very good. Overall this was a great experience and I'm glad I chose this cabin. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, and secluded place but with plenty of places nearby, this is it.

The cabin had a lot of rustic charm and natural wood elements that were cozy and beautiful. There are two living spaces that are comfortable. The hot water was plentiful (keep in mind only one shower) and the view is unbeatable. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the beauty for us. The kitchen was well-stocked but the counter height was at least 40”, possibly higher. It was virtually impossible for me as a 5’1” woman to cook on the stove or even do the dishes in the sink comfortably. The bathroom counters were also well above standard height and only one stool in the property, below the microwave which was also up super high. The listing states there is a washer and a dryer, but there is actually only one *tiny* washer/dryer combo that you may see in an RV. If I had known this, I would never have booked the cabin. We came to snow ski and planned to do laundry every couple of days. We could barely fit an outfit for each our family pet load in the washer/dryer that took a minimum of 3 hours per cycle and still needed to be dried longer. One towel per person was provided for our stay of 6 nights and obviously washing the towels was another hurdle since the washer/dryer would not even fit all six bath towels in one load.

Great home with a fully stocked kitchen and all the essentials. The views were beautiful, and the fireplace created wonderful family memories. The location was ideal—close to hiking, restaurants, and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again.

Easy to get to, very accommodating…the only thing I didn’t really care for, there was a lot of hair left behind…on pillows and some of the bedding and throws…but we understood that a deep cleaning wasn’t done before our stay…and just opted not to use the pillows and linens and purchased our own.

Well equipped nice property. Great view! Screened patio to enjoy morning coffee. Don’t miss Grandfather Mountain winery. Nice to have air conditioning and washer dryer on property. One standup shower was plenty for the family. Located close to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock.

We had a perfect week of vacation at this well-equipped home. The gorgeous home, perched on the side of the mountain with stunning views, was just what we needed for our family, my son's best friends, and our dog. I grew up visiting this area multiple times a year, and the location of the home is ideally situated between Banner Elk, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Boone. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, my 18yo son said every relaxing surface was meant for sleeping and napping with all the cozy throws! With three active hiking, fishing teenagers I was delighted to have the mudroom for all their gear! The cabin is very secluded with only one other cabin close enough to see, and very few cars passing by, you will feel like you have the mountain to yourself! I found it very hard to leave the screened porch and magical bird song. I can't wait to come back and stay again in a different season.

Our family stayed for graduation weekend. We enjoyed the gorgeous Mountain View’s and the lovely house. The house was accessible to my 86 year old father in law, who had a room and bathroom on ground level.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Ample linens for the 4 of us. The loft had great board game, books and videos to watch. It took us a bit to figure out on the gate for the gated community you need to push # before the entrance code got the gate to open. I would have given a 5 over all except at checkout. We had unexpected car issues/break down the Sunday afternoon before Monday AM check out. I requested a late check out, 1-2 hours to get a ride and arrange rental. I was offered till 2p BUT an added $75 fee. Thankfully the local people in Banner Elk and great Uber driver helped out so we could check out by 10a. I thought the added fee was excessive when I paid a lot in added fees already on this rental.

We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views. The house has a lovely cabin interior with the rustic wood and stone accents. The three bedrooms worked well for us and our 2 teenagers. The kids liked hanging out in the loft while I stayed out on the screened in porch to look out at the mountains. We would stay here again, but only in summer as our vehicle does not have 4 wheel drive or snow chains. The only want to have would be in the master bedroom, but this is only a want. The bedroom is big enough for a king bed, and as a luxury rental, hopefully at some point, a king bed could be added instead of the queen. The other thing was there are not blinds on the four master bedroom windows next to the bed that face the East. So in the summer, the sun comes directly in the windows at 6:15 a.m., which is not ideal for me on vacation. But the house is great and we would definitely stay here again.
